(no subject)

 Hello, mun!

I'm really excited you didn't decide to let me stagnate until I quieted down. I've watched that happen to a few others in that 'headspace' of yours, but I think the two of us are getting on fairly well, don't you?

I know that, ultimately, I have no say in where you end up putting me, and I know that your tastes tend to veer on the... darker side of things. But despite that, can you at least put me somewhere where I can do some good and make people happy? It doesn't matter if I know them or not; I'd love to see certain familiar faces, of course, but it's not necessary. There are lots of people in these so-called 'games' that look to be absolutely miserable, and I'd feel a lot better about things if I can put a smile on people's faces.

That's all I wanted to say, mun. Maybe you should get back to work now. Idle hands, and all that.

[Sherlock sighs deeply.]

Oh God!

[His tone says "boring" but his sigh says "Must I really put up with this?"]

Only that you have this misguided idea about going into "games".

[He's trying to be helpful, really.]

[personal profile] highfunctioning_sociopath 2013-02-21 04:16 am (UTC)(link)
The term mostly. Also, the fact that my writer is continually trying to get me into one again. I refuse.

[No really, refuses. The last game ended and both Sherlock and the writer were left disenchanted.]

[Sherlock chuckles loudly.]

Oh, ye of little faith!

[Of course he has total control of his writer.]

Besides, there are many other options beyond "games."

[Which he says as if it's a dirty word.]
highfunctioning_sociopath: The Great Game (experiment)

[personal profile] highfunctioning_sociopath 2013-02-21 04:46 am (UTC)(link)
Experiments, of course.

[He means "museboxes"... Especially his own.]

[He pauses.]

I assume if others participate they find it entertaining enough.

Where do you think?

[There's a reason he strolls up and down Bakerstreet.]
highfunctioning_sociopath: Scandal in Belgravia (hat)

[personal profile] highfunctioning_sociopath 2013-02-21 01:49 pm (UTC)(link)
No. I seek people out because I'm bored. When my writer is bored, I am forced to "offer myself."

[He really hates that.]

Though, when my writer gets creative, we both tend to have a bit of fun.
highfunctioning_sociopath: Blind Banker (grins)

[personal profile] highfunctioning_sociopath 2013-02-21 04:10 pm (UTC)(link)
[He flashes a grin.]

Oh, some of the ideas are expansions of the walks taken on Bakerstreet. Others are completely new and still others are the brainchild of myself or my writer. All of them tend to be rather dark and not entirely suitable for everyone to read.

You're selling yourself short, Molly. Of course you could fit into them.

[It's a fact.]
highfunctioning_sociopath: The Great Game (smile)

[personal profile] highfunctioning_sociopath 2013-02-21 05:00 pm (UTC)(link)
You have a caring nature. That can be quite... useful to balance out the horrors that my writer puts me through.

[He did just compliment her, So he's going to shut-up now.]

[personal profile] highfunctioning_sociopath 2013-02-21 06:01 pm (UTC)(link)
I said you provide balance. The real question is: do you want to be involved?
highfunctioning_sociopath: Blind Banker (molly cafe)

[personal profile] highfunctioning_sociopath 2013-02-21 07:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, you won't get any quiet in a game. Though there may be opportunities in other places...

[Sherlock sighs heavily.]

What have we just been talking about? I thought you were smart enough to keep up.

I gave you all the specifics you needed.

[personal profile] highfunctioning_sociopath 2013-02-21 09:23 pm (UTC)(link)
I also said "no games" and that I have a place. Though, that last one might have been inferred.
highfunctioning_sociopath: Scandal in Belgravia (eyebrow)

[personal profile] highfunctioning_sociopath 2013-02-21 10:16 pm (UTC)(link)
[He raises an eyebrow.]

What do you think?

[That wasn't said harshly.]

[personal profile] highfunctioning_sociopath 2013-02-22 02:31 am (UTC)(link)
Well, then when an idea for an adventure comes up, consider yourself invited.

[That was more of a grumble. He hates 'manners.']

Going by how my writer does things... Trouble has usually already happened...

[He means, it's more the patching up that might be required.]
highfunctioning_sociopath: (driving)

[personal profile] highfunctioning_sociopath 2013-02-22 02:59 am (UTC)(link)
Well then. Shall we begin?

[It's more of a challenge than an invitation.]

'Doing some good' and 'making people happy' are two very, very different things, love. I'd be careful what I wished for, if I were you.

Depends who that simple girl is, and more importantly, what she bears witness to.

What I mean is good intentions don't always result in people being happy with you, let alone people being happy in general. Better not to people-please, is all I'm saying.
