Ah, yes, yes, I understand this is a very big deal, hooray for Twilight Sparkle, congratulations, so on and so forth. I will add my voice to the choir of 'nice job, you earned it'. [He semi-sarcastically (yet it's mostly sincere if you know him well enough to see that, since it actually is impressive) starts to clap, copies of himself appearing behind him and clapping until it sounds like there's a crowd applauding.

And then he crosses both his arms, the copies bursting into bubbles.]

Yet at the moment, us two seem to be in a predicament, hmm? Now, I like predicaments. Predicaments are interesting. But that's when ponies are involved, and despite any appearance to the contrary, I'm not a pony.

[He would be shoving his face in his mun's if he could, but she is unfortunately in the ether. So he's going to settle with snapping his talons and making fireworks erupt from his feet, whizzing past him into the sky and exploding into floating clouds of popcorn.]

I am Discord. Spirit of chaos. I'm not the type you want to try controlling, my dear, so why don't we skip the part where you lose control and I turn your house upside-down and just have you let me out? Or we can go the house turning route. I do love a good bout of ruining somepony's home.

Yes, I'm assuming you're talking about Twilight? Good business, all that. A pity I wasn't there. [Although he's mostly interested in laughing in Rainbow's face when she was getting cooked by angry animals, but being nice to Twilight during her coronation is good too, he guesses...]

Well, it was very overwhelming. Maybe you can do your own... unique kind of celebration for her. And it was a very rule filled kind of coronation, so maybe you wouldn't have liked it.

[He's improving, at least. Which is saying a lot for a spirit that's been alive for at least a quarter of the planet's lifespan.]

Hmm, I suppose I wouldn't have. And of course Celestia would be yanking on my chain every time I so much as turned a pony upside-down, so perhaps it's better that I wasn't there.

[He snaps his tail, a rose appearing his his talons. The petals continually shimmer different colors, like they're made out of rainbow ocean water instead of plant material.] Tell her flowers are on their way. Careful of the snapdragons--they bite.

I'd deliver them myself, but I'm afraid Celestia has me up north. [Probably for the best, since Twilight might not like the kind of celebrations he likes.]

[She blinks, startled at the sudden magic. But then she smiles because flowers are pretty :3 ]

I think that's a very nice gesture. I'm sure she'll like them a lot... and I can take them to her. I really like flowers.

Gracious as usual, Fluttershy.

[He opens his talons, allowing the rose to float from his hand and intertwine itself in Fluttershy's hair, right behind her ear. And mercifully, it's thorn-free.

He snaps his talons again, and a large bouquet of flowers appear in the air. Say what you want about chaos--sometimes, it produces really beautiful things. It's a whole array of flowers--shimmering rainbow roses, sparkling snapdragons that snap at the air, tiger lilies with real warm tiger fur on their petals, which are lined with teeth, hibiscuses with multicolored petals which swirl in the air as the flowers themselves dance, dahlia shifting in place like they're breathing, singing softly, and pansies with the entire galaxy moving across their pebbles, giving the impression of looking right into space (or Luna's mane), with all of the flowers tied together by coiling bleeding heart vines, with every individual bleeding heart lighting up periodically within their 'heart', heart shaped lanterns.

And since he's still Discord, one of those flowers will spit water in the face of whoever tries to smell it. No saying which one.]

Perhaps I should warn you about the lilies too, but at least they growl when they're ready to bite.

[Wow. When Discord goes out, he goes all out! She blinks several times in amazement, and then smiled from ear to ear, 'ooo'ing and 'awww'ing over the marvelous display.]

Discord... this is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen! It's absolutely gorgeous!

[There's a reason why chaos is so often associated with creativity. And hey, if he's going to do something, he's not doing it halfway.

He looks pretty smug, but mainly because he very rarely gets compliments for his work and it's nice to be appreciated.]

Thank you, Fluttershy. Perhaps the dancing flowers were a little much, but well. It's a very special occasion.

Just tell her to water them with chocolate milk and they'll last. Here's to Princess Twilight Sparkle.
