somarium..............maybe.
Still trying to decide? The underwater world—Vatheon, was it?—was rather fun, and this world of dreams seems just as interesting. Particularly since Twilight Sparkle and some of her friends are there. I'm sure she would have some rather interesting reports for me. On the other hoof, I wouldn't want to get in the way of her fun. [a light, amused laugh.]
It's up to you, but I think it would be a fun experience. I've never really entered dreams before since that was more of Luna's domain. [thoughtful pause.] Actually, this world would be right up her alley, wouldn't it?

[HEY CELESTIA there is suddenly a Discord lounging on top of your back, whipping his tail side to side.]
Oh, I've always loved dreams! That's the one place where everypony-- [He flies off her back, effortlessly taking his head from his shoulders like he's a Mr. Potato Head or something and then shaking the head in his hands until his eyes roll around like marbles in their sockets.] --is as crazy as I am! What fun, what fun, especially when you go inside a sleeping pony's and mess around a bit. [Pop back goes the head on his neck.]

I do not believe that is the purpose of this world, Discord.

[He starts to laugh, coiling up in the air.]
Really, my dear Celestia, you should think out of the box sometimes.
[He snaps his fingers, a glittering baton appearing curled in his tail, and he starts to flip it from tail to hand to hand to tail again. And also it looks like it's turning into a flower. A baton flower with sparking petals.
It's kind of hard to tell if he's reformed or not. At the very least, he hasn't tried snapping up an army of gazelle rabbits?]
no subject
[yes, it's still...hard to tell. but not snapping up army of gazelle rabbits
yesis definitely good!]A dream, particularly the dreamer, should be protected from whatever may appear. Not "messed with," as you say.
no subject
[Maybe it'd be a little easier to tell if he had had more than a few days to do his reforming. :| ]
Don't lie to me--I know you mess with ponies too. Remember, I was perfectly capable of listening to the whole Galloping Gala last time you threw it. [Or maybe you didn't know that, because you've never been turned to stone /still bitter] Tell me you didn't know it'd be a royal disaster to set those ponies loose in the most uptight celebration Canterlot has ever seen.

There's a difference between some light merriment when it's to the benefit of others and not just for yourself, Discord. [ie, she can be quite the troll, but there is difference between her sense of "play" and Discord's. harmless fun vs. chaotic mess?]
As for the Gala, while things didn't go quite as expected, no harm was done.
no subject
No harm? I remember hearing a fair bit of crashing. Ah, and who knew Fluttershy and Rarity had such edges hidden under their lovely exteriors? [There's a reason he knew so much about the six before he was released the first time. He heard a lot about them from the garden. And he got quite the kick out of listening to the Gala.]
no subject
[at the mention of Fluttershy and Rarity, though...even she couldn't help the amused smile at the memory.]
I was a bit surprised as well, but as you probably know most, everyone has a different side to them. Some are just seen less often than most.
no subject
[Discord will be Discord.
Speaking of, can he be the first to say that it's a really weird feeling to be having a civil conversation with Celestia? Seriously. Who knew there was so much less shouting when you were 'reformed'?]
But you don't always have a party to ruin, Celestia. What do you do for fun when you're not busy sending little ponies to turn other ponies into stone? [/still bitter]
no subject
I think Fluttershy is fine just the way she is. Besides, I don't think she would take too kindly your suggestion of scaring the ones she cares about.
[it is strange, isn't it? of course Celestia had hoped that once he was reformed things could...settle a bit. there was hope yet!]
Oh, the usual. Looking over my subjects, reading, walking through the gardens. Traveling to other cities and regions can also be rather enjoyable.

You really are boring. How have you survived all these years being so... [He gestures with his paw, looking for a word, then he snaps his talons together.] Adult! [And just like that, a paddleball appears in his talons, which he starts rhythmically bouncing.] Really. You act all dignified around your ponies, but I know better. Everyone has an inner child, even you, my dear Celestia. What do you do to satisfy it? Or did you turn that into stone too?
[He stops bouncing the paddleball suddenly, then after a moment's thought, offers it to Celestia. Believe it or not, this is his way of being nice.
Go on, Celestia. Act a little childish.]
no subject
but at his statements and the offering of the paddleball, she laughs a bit. it certainly was a bit a of a surprise, and her horn glows as the paddleball floats in the air.]
No, it still exists. It just comes out in different ways.
[and there's a thoughtful pause.]
How about we have a contest?
no subject
Yes, she took the paddleball. First step. Now that he's not supposed to actually do malicious things, he's going to see how entertaining slowly getting Celestia to play around more would be. Next, maybe he should put Tabasco in her tea and see what she does to get back at him.
At the mention of a competition, his ears perk up, his tail lashing side to side cheerfully.] I'm listening...

Oh, probably not, but I don't want my presence to change anything.
