This should be interesting...
[He smiles, and his hands move about in excited gestures as images of sand appear and disappear above his head, giving little opportunity to make sense of them.
And he apologizes for that. He's just really excited to be here.
But a thoughtful expression crosses his face, and he wonders what's going to happen now. As much as he's happy to be here, he understands that he comes with certain...difficulties. He's a particular muse who might be a challenge to play.
Still, he bows slightly in appreciation; he's willing to stick around as long as anyone likes him to.]

Wow... You can do magic?
no subject
Then the images disappear, and he smiles.]
no subject
You help people sleep?
no subject
As he 'sleeps', another image appears above his head and he points to it.
Trying to explain a dream is tough...]
no subject
You're the one who brings people dreams!
no subject
no subject
Only kind of...?
no subject
He points to himself, creating another wave of sand, then points to her, then the cloud above her.]
no subject
You...um... You...help people dream, but you don't make the dreams for them?
no subject
Then he points to the cloud again, then to himself before flexing a little bit.
He's not trying to show off, really, it's just another hint.]
no subject
Then her smile fades. And she thinks about something for a minute.]
...Can you chase away the bad dreams?
no subject
It's difficult to chase them away...but he can.]
no subject
...I have bad dreams sometimes. I dream that my daddy gets hurt. He's far away, fighting the Fearlings and dream pirates.
[She looks down at her shoes.] I just don't want him to get hurt...
no subject
Then he gives her a reassuring smile, hoping to let her know that he helps fight the Fearlings and dream pirates.
And he would do his best to keep those kind of bad dreams away.]
no subject
Do you know my daddy?
no subject
It might help if he knew who her father was...]
no subject
His name is Kozmotis. Kozmotis Pitchiner. My name is Seraphina.

The image is of a tall looming figure, and though it has no facial expressions, the figure seems intimidating somehow. The ends of the figure's cloak seems to move on their own, wispy and menacing as they dance around.
Sandy points to the figure sadly.]

Seraphina's eyes widen, and she backs away from the sand-person and her new friend immediately.]
My daddy's not like that...
no subject
The man stands tall for a moment, but another motion of his hands sends waves of...something crashing over the man, changing him into the daunting image from before.]
no subject
She's not so much afraid of what she now knows her father has become. She's afraid for him.
Which is why she's starting to cry.]
no subject
It's not much...but it's all he can do.]
no subject
It's not intentional. She doesn't want to hurt him. She just wants him to go away and leave her alone, because the Fearlings have taken her daddy from her and she wants him back.
She thinks hard on it enough--for Sandy to just go away--that the blast of wind that knocks him back is completely unexpected, even by her. It doesn't last long at all, but it's incredibly strong all the same.
Seraphina stares at her new friend in horror.]
I...I didn't mean it...
no subject
But looking at her, he holds his hands up, indicating that he's all right.
He can understand why she would be angry.]
no subject
[welp. It's not every day someone learns they can use magic, after all.]
no subject
no subject
[this is certainly news to her! The idea of being able to use magic herself never really crossed her mind.]
no subject
no subject
I want to help my daddy. He's too good a person to just be...gone.
no subject
Then he motions to her again. Sand swirls around him as he waves his arms - wild and spread out at first, but the longer he goes on, the sands starts to come together in smooth streams.
Because if she's going to use her magic to help, she'll need practice.]

[Pitch isn't too pleased with what his Mun has done with him.]

Being thrown into a game where all of your powers are stripped away, and you have to relearn them all? The worst. You're lucky you're stuck in this limbo.
For now at least.

Thankfully, I'm getting my powers back with time.

I haven't done anything, thank you very much.
[Not yet anyways. He's being good!]
