On a whim, have Major Sarcasm
I'm not usually one to question orders. You know that, obviously.
But I can't help but think this isn't a good idea. You already have three muses from Stargate, three main characters I might add. And I really have a lot of work to do. Sheppard's paperwork won't do it self, as much as he thinks it will.
Also, the journal name isn't very funny. Nor are the cracks about DADT.
But whatever you say, ma'am.
EDIT: Back away from the memes, ma'am. You made this journal tonight. At least give me one night to adjust before you make the situation worse.

/blows dust off of muse
old muse, meet new muse
Don't Ask, Don't Tell.
It's good to see you, Dr. Jackson.
hello hello! much muse <3 for Lorne
Thank you...um, I don't remember your name? [He asks sheepishly, sometimes it was hard to keep the soldiers' names apart when they dressed the same.]
I love him too, the sarcastic bastard
[chuckles lightly, not exactly surprised.] Major Lorne, sir. We had a small run in with Unas together.
You are looking a little different, Doc. [like a lot younger and just a little off] You touch anything funny?
I love that WHOLE series
Um, no. Not recently anyway. [He is a whole lot younger. A lot longer hair too.] Daniel is fine. [Calling him doctor was a little formal. Besides, it's not like everyone takes him seriously anyway. Even if his theories turned out to be right.]
SGA is my favorite, I will not lie
You have no idea what I'm talking about, do you? How old are you?
[Just his luck. First friendly face and it's a pre-SGC Daniel Jackson. Wonderful. Was he going to get ROTC John Sheppard too?]
likewise, I just couldn't do anyone from it justice
Twenty-one. [Ish. Mun's estimate.]
Pfft there has to be someone (can't talk, I have Ronon and Carson too)
That would be because we won't meet for a good 7-8 years or so. What's the last thing you remember?
eee, you play all my favorites and movie Jackson is who I gravitated towards the most
My main SG muse is Jonas Quinn so I can't say anything about who people gravitate too
:)

[all depending on your mun, sense of cruelty, which is exacerbated by just how creative they can get it about it. Memes might not be so bad as games.
Somewhat bemused]
Thanks, I guess?
no subject
[Memes are probably it for Lorne and after seeing what game muses go through...he doesn't know if that's a good or bad thing.]
Sorry, after your 21 year old self, I was expecting undergrad Mckay or ROTC Sheppard. Maybe even pre-stone age O'Neill.

and the damage they can do.
It's a big world out there, but I don't think there's such thing as Pre-Nethenderthal Jack [he's trying to fight the smile.] I think he was just born that way.
no subject
[Oh smile, Daniel. That was funny and oh so true.] You'd know better then anyone. Was his pet dinosaur really named Dino?
no subject
Yeah, and he'd eat giant drum sticks and tacks for breakfast, then go beat his chest at his military buddies to communicate. [he's going a bit far but doing it with no small amount of glee]
He'd also tell you there was once a time before the Simpsons were on and those were "some damn dark days".
he really did tell me that last part once
no subject
Beating of the chest is a common way of communicating in the military [sadly, that was very true even if it fit the joke]
I have to agree with him there. There wasn't civilization before the Simpsons.
threadjack okay?
[To say the least]
Always okay! Hello hello <3
Strange is right. Bizarre's another good word about now.
/shy hello and your Daniel is lovely
Aw, thanks! So's yours, he's adorable
Ignore him

[She smiles wryly.] Trust me, I can see why you'd prefer the space vampires.

She has a few in a game so I've seen it. Thankfully, I think I'm down on the totem pole for going to games, even being new. I'm kind of grateful for that fact, really.
Are you in a game?

[Zoey laughs]
Unfortunately, yes. It’s not as bad as some of the others I’ve been in. I HATE the fact that I’m an unwilling candidate for marriage to a prince with no sign of going home any time soon. BUT compared to the others... it’s at least a pretty, open prison. There’s a lot more freedom than I’m used to. And a lot less fried foods. I definitely don’t miss the funnel cake.
Of course, she's always got have an eye out for other games that she thinks might be fun for her to toss me into.

Unwilling candidate for marriage to a prince. [Sounds some like off-world missions he's heard of] How many other candidates are there? And won't you get to go back home once he picks someone? I don't think my mun has heard of that one. She's pretty happy in her two, and even if she joins the third she's eying, it won't be me going. Thankfully, none have marriage involved.
How can you not miss funnel cake?
no subject
A few dozen, I think. Give or take, depending on the new arrivals. I hope we will, but unfortunately it seems as though the prince is taking his sweet fucking time about choosing. Oh, it’s called Throne of Shadows. It’s the only game with marriage that my mun has found for me. As of yet. Unfortunately the others involve an assorted variety of frustrations and dangers. Granted, I’ve gotten a bit used to that sort of thing, but still.
Well, when you’re living off of funnel cake and a sundry of other carnival type foods it tends to get to be a bit... much. Especially when the funnel cake occasionally has things like nails and glass in it. The woman usually in charge of that particular stand had... an amazing inability to make the stuff.
[A pause] That’s probably why I didn’t end up eating very much over the course of my stay. Although there was a sushi cart for a short time. That was actually safe to eat and everything.
