So you're the smallest out of 'em, are ya?

[Bunny's not surprised. This kid seems pretty young, in his way. Speaking of...]

Where's your mum at?

[littleroo]

Oh no, not quite! Piglet's pretty small too. ..We're 'bout the same size I think.

[Then he scuffs one of his big hind-feet against the ground, frowning a little.]

I dunno. I haven't found her anywhere here yet. I hope she's not lookin' for me...

[pooka]

So you normally go runnin' off without 'er, then.

[Sounds like someone he remembers...]

I'm sure it'll be alright. You're not runnin' around alone, are ya?

[littleroo]

Well- she usually knows where I am! An' most of th'time I'm with Tigger, or one of my other friends. The Hundred Acre Woods is a pretty safe place..

...but I am alone here, unless I find Mama.

[pooka]

Well, I'm sure you'll find 'er sometime soon.

If ya need any help, I'm free from time to time.

[littleroo]

Oh, ok! ...What's your name?

[pooka]

I'm the Easter Bunny. You can just call me Bunny, though.

[littleroo]

The Easter Bunny? Wow, really?

A'course I've heard'a you! Who hasn't?

[Excited, Roo hops around Bunny a little, never taking his eyes off the large pooka. The kangaroo is so innocent- he doesn't have to be convinced that this is the real Easter Bunny.]

I'm not gonna lie it's my favourite too

You'd be surprised, around here. Seems a lot 'a people can see without believin', an' that's just not fun, is it?

[Brb preening. Positively preening.]

Well aren't you quite the hopper. Good bit of a bounce you've got there, don't ya?

[littleroo]

No fun at all!

[He nods again before stopping just in front of Bunnymund, still bouncing slightly on his heels.]

Uh-huh, sure am! I'm one of the bestest bouncers in the Hundred Acre Woods, thanks to my best pal Tigger!

[pooka]

Is that so?

[He squats down again, grinning.]

An' who's this friend of yours? Another kangaroo?

[littleroo]

[The little joey shakes his head, chuckling.]

No-hoo- Tigger's a...he's uh...

...he's a Tigger!

[And Roo seems dead serious too.]

He's the only Tigger there is!

[pooka]

[Bunny can't seem to hold back a snort, covering his mouth as to prevent himself from laughing. That was cute, Roo.]

That so? Well, I've never heard of a Tigger before.

[littleroo]

Well a'course you haven't, cause he's the only one!

[pooka]

I know what that's like. I'm the only one of my kind, y'see.

But it sounds like you keep 'im loads of company, am I right?

[littleroo]

[At that Roo stops bouncing, settling down to stand flatly on his large feet. He does lean over a bit though, standing up on his tiptoes.]

You are...?

I'm with Tigger almost all the time.

..you got friends to keep you company too, right?

[pooka]

'Course I do.

You ain't ever heard of the Tooth Fairy? Or Nicholas St. North? Or the Sandman?

[He chuckles a little, leaning closer as if to tell a secret.]

Or even Jack Frost?

[littleroo]

[The child gasps a little, nodding eagerly.]

Course I have! Mama tells me 'bout them all the time, but I've never seen them in person. Not like you!

[Well of course the Easter Bunny would be friends with all of those familiar icons, each of which he wholeheartedly believes in.]

Jack Frost...

[Roo pauses, tapping his chin with a paw, before looking back up at Bunny.]

He's th'one who makes it snow, right?

[pooka]

That's him. Bit of a troublemaker, but 'e keeps me company too.

[He gives Roo a sly smile, pretending not to be so sure.]

But ya do believe in 'em all, don't ya?

[littleroo]

[Roo nods again, firmly this time. It's a wonder his floppy ears don't just go flying right off his head.]

I do, I do- a'course I do!

[pooka]

Good. Means if any of my friends come around, you'll see 'em.

[He rubs his hand over Roo's head as if to ruffle his ears.]

Even Jack Frost.

[littleroo]

[The child grins broadly, excited to hear that, from the Easter Bunny himself no less.]

Woow...

[Wait until Mama heard about this.]
