Okay, you took a ridiculously long amount of time with this. Do you know how many pranks we could've done in that time? A lot! So you really owe me an apology here. Still, I am glad you decided to bring me here at all, so thanks for that!

He forgot about you. Him. The life you're living now isn't something he was reborn knowing.

Why wouldn't I remember my own life?

[warrens]

You do, eventually. Takes some, um. Some work. You get there, though.

The other me forgot to mention that. Conveniently.

Bugger. Yeah, I can understand why. Sorry, again.

[jacksonoverland]

It's not your fault. I guess. He told me that I could, at the very least, see my sister again. But... I won't even know it's her and she won't be able to see me.

[warrens]

[ Feeling reaaaaally awkward over here. Letting those realizations sink in, oops. ]

[jacksonoverland]

[He sighs and runs a hand through his hair, clearly upset]

Okay, let me sum it up. I'm supposed to die... and essentially not exist? And then my sister won't... and I won't... all my friends, my family, they'll think I'm dead! But I won't even know who they are! I won't even care that they're upset! Because they'll all just be strangers to me!

You all keep saying this is a good thing, that it's good that I die, but how can you even say that?

[warrens]

[ Urgh. He's silent throughout that tirade, ears lowering slightly while berated. Shuffling his feet, he opens his hands as he haltingly tries to explain. ]

You help children all over the world not to be afraid. Doesn't sound like much, but ... Jack, we don't all get what we want, we do what we have to because we're needed.

[jacksonoverland]

Maybe I'm afraid of dying.

[warrens]

[ A warm hand rests on Jack's shoulder. ]

It'll be alright.

[jacksonoverland]

[He makes a sort of face as if to say "Hey, I'm not a little kid; I don't need the Easter Bunny to comfort me." Honestly, though, it looks like the opposite is true. He attempts a small smile since, maybe he should be grateful]

Thanks, I just... wish I didn't know all of this, I guess.

[warrens]

Really? 'Cause I'm sort of glad to have met you like this.

[jacksonoverland]

[He snorts. How selfish of you, Bunny]

That's good for you then.

I meant like... with my death and stuff. You could have just not told me that.

[warrens]

[ He's not the most kawaii of all spirits, alas. 8|a ]

I could've, but I don't see the point in pretending that stuff won't happen. You have a right to know.

[jacksonoverland]

Maybe, but there are things you really don't need to know.

That and... [He looks off guiltily because he is the most kawaii of all] I probably almost could have wrecked the timeline or whatever because I might have maybe considered avoiding the event altogether.

[warrens]

Next time I won't say a word.

[ Huffing, he rolls his eyes and looks pissy; at himself, but yeah. Snapping is a part of self-deprecation. ]

[jacksonoverland]

Yeah, next time you see a past version of one of your friends and they don't know who you are or anything, I'm sure you'll remember not to tell them they're dead. Right, bunny man?

[He grins up at Bunnymund. Cheer up, okay]

[warrens]

I meant next time you don't want to know something. And you can't mess up your time-line, don't talk like that.

[jacksonoverland]

Learn to take a joke, Bunny. It'll help you in dealing with other me.

[warrens]

I don't find the thought of you permanently kicking the bucket particularly funny, Jack.

[jacksonoverland]

I didn't know you cared so much about me. I'm touched, really.

[Jack can't take that much of serious talk and he's pretty much filled his quota for a lifetime with this conversation]
