An interesting day it has been, indeed.

I've heard the phrase. Parting is such sweet sorrow. Yet I find it ill fitting as much as I find it not.



Little more needs to be said, writer. Patience, and patience, and patience again. Though at this point, one wonders the reason to even try anymore. Where does it all lead? What will we find?

Why waste the effort, when we simply fall back to the start once more, over and over again until we are naught but a fleeting memory?

I've seen it work. When one's usefulness is over and done, rather than practice to try again, one merely disappears. Never to be heard from again. Perhaps such a time has come.

I would not let that occur.

There is no wasted effort, brother. You are never truly sent back to start over. You carry with you all that you learned. What troubles you so to think giving up is the solution?

Repetition. Routine. I grow weary of it. All of this effort and exertion, only to one day end up at the bottom of a bin, long forgotten so that others may shine.

It is not a sentiment I am fond of. I simply wish that efforts cease, and I am no longer bound to such restriction.

Bearing witness to it happening to those before me. Those who've places I have so proudly stolen.

Just because one falls and another rises does not mean they are forgotten. No Asgardian is ever forgotten! You know that as well as I.

Because we lived. At least for a time. It's better than wasting away entirely, drowning in unrealized potential and possibility without ever seeing the light of day.

And if one has used their potential to its fullest, is it so wrong to wish to fade away, rather than to be set upon sidelines to watch everyone else have their time in the sun?

It's a waste. Take that time to plot and to plan. Let them think they've won until you can tear them asunder and watch the flames burn around you as they come crashing down. You're far better than they could ever hope to be, you must simply remember yourself.

You waste your words. Such high aspirations, as though you truly think they are possible.

Such is the nature of the beast, I would think you to hold that knowledge already, brother. They never know what they want, leaving us to suffer all the more for it.

I have known it long and well. All the more reason for well overdue exhaustion.
