Mun, do you truly think this is a good idea? You've said yourself you don't have the time for me, and... well, I already made a new life for myself. I don't think that being in your head would do anything to make me happier. I'd miss Betty too much. Not to mention the other girls.

Maybe you should wait until you have more free time and then see how you feel. You might even want to play someone else by then.

If it's any consolation, it's quite normal for your life to remain completely untouched: you're able to return to it as if you never left at all. As if no time has passed, even though it has. Somehow. I'm not entirely clear on the mechanics, but I've been assured that things don't just continue on without you in another time-line you'll never even know existed anyway.

So really I wouldn't worry, miss. I'm sure it's an excellent idea! ...Unless bandits are involved. Then I might not, if I were you.

That doesn't sound very plausible... but then again, being here in the first place doesn't sound all that believable, either.

I don't think there are bandits involved. Or at least none that I'm aware of. Are there usually in this kind of thing? [She hopes not, because bandits seem pretty scary.]

It is a little fantastical, but I have it on very good authority.

There may be. Truthfully, I believe my concern may spring mainly from the fact that your keenly resemble a young lady I knew who was sadly killed by a bandit. ...Of course, she did fall in love with another bandit, whom I suppose was a good man, even if we all found him terribly annoying.

Oh, that's terrible. It's a pity you can't be more careful with who you fall in love with. I don't suppose that girl meant to fall in love with a bandit, though I don't see how one could be a good man. From what I've heard of them seeming annoying is hardly their worst trait.

A doctor. The Doctor, in fact. More than one of him, even. And it's Constable Crabtree; Constable George Crabtree.

I don't know: I think the fact that one can't choose who one loves is part of the romance of it. But Mr. Glenn wasn't technically bandit. He was a journalist pretending to be a bandit, although he did still steal quite a lot of money, and so in the eyes of the law there really isn't a difference.

There are usually more than one. At least in hospitals. Not as many as we need, but I think they try to hire as many doctors as they can.

Maybe, but it still seems a shame for it to be a tragedy. Being killed by bandits sort of kills the romance of it.

He actually isn't that sort of doctor. Actually, I'm not sure he's any sort of doctor.

It was certainly a tragedy, but she was really only murdered by the one bandit. Who was not technically a bandit either.
