I know you're a little upset hearing that The Little Mermaid apparently won't be re-released in cinemas in 3D (not that your boyfriend can watch 3D anyway), but maybe it'll still come out on blu-ray so you can replace your old DVD of it later this year?

3D? I just would've liked it to get re-released in cinemas at all! But I guess it's not to be....Sigh.

Apparently not. It's one she was really looking forward to potentially seeing but it's kind of a let down to think it won't be released in cinemas at all from what she heard.
