I have an important question, though: how many ordinary people have I actually met? You know, as opposed to werewolves, or necromancers, or... weird things from another plane? Because while I like to think I’m pretty good at talking to all of those (well, some of them) it’d… be nice to know.

Oh, I can summon things just fine. Trust me. [Portals are one thing, but don't diss his summmoning skills.] I was hoping I'd open a portal to somewhere nicer. Less lava, more waterfalls.

Lots of people say that about conjuration. But it suits me just fine. The mysteries, the strange beings, the thrills and danger... the rewards are worth the risks, believe me.

I've heard words like those. But somehow I doubt they mean the same things you do.

Well, I know what training is, obviously. And a train is like a sequence or a procession. You know, like a train of events, or all the people the Emperor drags around behind him.

[He scratches his head.] I'm not so sure about cars. I think I read it in a history book years ago.

Uh yeah, we you put it like that. Then I understand that it may mean several things. I was thinking about a mechanical train which transports people and wares. But yeah you got a valid point. [Scrunches his face a little.]

Machines were really the Dwemer's speciality. [shrug] Most people just use carts.

In my world everyone uses machines for transport, cooking, recreation etc. We do use carts for some things though, Some countries uses them more than others. Your would doesn't sound that technology advanced.

Most people aren't that interested in gadgets. Besides, we have our own ways of getting work done for us.

Ain't true for my world though. People love their gadgets over here. They use them for all kind of things. We only got technology to help us though since we doesn't got any magic.

At least you've got something. All that smithing and handcraft isn't my style, but you've got to appreciate skill.

Next time I'm stranded I'll be sure to bring a few gizmos to sell.

Eh? I don't make the stuff I use, I buy it. I got skill in repairing cars, my world's primary transport, but that's about it.

Alright I understand. However, many of the mechanical things from my world won't work without a power source or fuel.
