[Blushing and looking nervous because she's never actually sung for anyone, she goes on to sing Think of Me.]

[To be honest, most of the kind of singing he's used to is from mostly male crewmates, half drunk and belting their joy across the waves. So he's not exactly an aficionado of music.

That being said, he knows what he likes when he hears it so after a moment he'll just close his eyes and listen. When she's finished he'll applaud]

Gorgeous! Absolutely stunning! I'm no music person, but you can sing for me any time, sweet lady.

[And she'll bite her lip, cheeks turning bright red. That was most certainly not the kind of reaction she would have expected from anyone.]

You flatter me.

I have been known to flatter on occasion, I have to admit. But in this case, it comes straight from the heart. You're like an angel yourself.

[That just, you know, makes her blush even more.]

You give me more praise today that I've heard in years. I shall have to seek you out, and often, when I am in need of practice for my singing!

I'm afraid I'll have to come to you. I'm a pirate so I go wherever the wind takes me. [and his captain commands] but send me a letter whenever you wish a grateful and ever captive audience and I'll be sure to arrive.

And so then I shall. I would always be glad to have someone near who would be glad to hear me.

[He laughs]

It would be an honor, sweet lady, truly. But you know, I don't think I'll be needed as I'm pretty sure that one day so many people will be glad to hear you that you'll forget about old Thatch.

Oh no! Never! How could I possibly forget someone who gave me such compliments.

[She lean close and lightly kiss his cheek.]

[A kiss! You are completely adorable, lady. A bastion of innocence for a pirate's heart]

I only hope you mean that. But even if you should forget, your song will live on in my heart.

[He takes her hand and bows with ridiculous theatrics over it, placing a light kiss on her knuckles]

[She really is much too innocent, most would say.]

I will not but I do hope that you remember it. It is a lovely thing to be able to turn to the thought or memory of a song.
