Oh, let me think why I wouldn't be happy with the entire city going underwater! As if that wasn't bad enough, there are also plans for zombies-- and that's before the rest of you muns get together and plot other things happening.

Don't get me wrong, I like a little chaos as much as the next person but potential drownings are not, in any sense of the word, even remotely FUN.

Hey, cheer up. Can't be all bad if you're not all alone, right? Plus, the barrier keeping the water out is never going to actually break, so nobody's drowning until they actually willingly go to the water.

Except some people are planning to willingly go into the water.

Some people haven't drowned and lost all their memories because of that.

It doesn't mean you have to, and doesn't mean they will actually... really drown. Unless they've changed plans, obviously.

The drowning part is, last time I checked, still up in the air. It doesn't matter if I'm not the one doing the drowning, watching someone else have to go through it is even worse!

... then leave my brother-from-a-different-universe do the watching - or rather, not watching but rescuing - and you stay whelmed and make sure the zombies don't get you?

You can freak out afterwards.

Well, doesn't sound like things are going too well on your end. No way y'could just freeze all th'water?

They've been better, that's for sure.

I think a whole ocean's worth is a little outside my levels, but it probably won't be for lack of trying if this plan of the muns' ends up going through.

Well, will th'city be protected by some other means? Doesn't seem like it'd be all that fair t'just drown th'lot of you with out any plans of escape.

[There is a smidgen of worry in her voice. Despite how casually she's speaking]

There's a bubble protecting the city, but people can go outside of it and into the water... and things are going to be coming in. Neither of which is good news.

Well, you'll be there right? And others like you. [By this she means good people.] I'm sure things'll work out.

I'll be doing anything I can, and so will the others. Hopefully I'll be back here in a few months, laughing about the whole thing in hindsight.

I'll figure something out. There's going to be a lot of people to help during the whole thing so... I won't have much time to think about it.

[ He winces, because he hasn't worked out how to tell the other Guardians what was in his memory box. And he... doesn't particularly want to, not yet. Not until he gets it settled in his own head. ]

It's, uh... just some things going on. It's not a big deal.

[ Yeah because that's totally gonna fly. ]

[Sorry, that disregard for personal space is happening, or it's getting close to being crossed - Tooth flies in a little closer, brows furrowed and frown tight.]

[ He doesn't pull back, but he's also not looking directly at her. ]

It's not because I don't trust you guys, it's just... complicated. It has to do with what memories were in my teeth.

[A nod and she reaches out, gets a tentative hand on his shoulder.]

Hey, that's fine. Whenever you're ready, okay? [She smiles to reassure him.] And for the situation you're currently in, you'll get through it.

You're not a guardian for nothing, remember?

[ He nods; he knows, he tries, but he's still a boy at heart. ]
