It's different for different people. Some of us may be hardly affected and others might be very frightened by the things that happen. It's nearly all meant to be frightening, of course-- so logically speaking, being affected by something is only a matter of time.

[Theta is always wary of them, of the pure blooded Gallifreyans. Harry Potter has nothing on them. A biological metacrisis cannot exist, and he's seen one pureblooded Gallifreyan's reaction which was 'Ew' and 'Why didn't you kill it, Doctor?' Nothing like being an 'it'.]

It isn't easy to survive here. You might not be up to it.

Yes. [ KIND OF PLEASED it's a Time Lord and someone who knows the Doctor. Or knows of him. They were hardly going to get to Gallifrey at any near point in his timeline. ] I traveled out of E-Space with him.

[ Knows of him, definitely. Him, his companions, his robot dog(s), and every temporal mess he's left for the CIA to clean up. ]
