Ah, very good mundane. I see you've decided to place your allegiances to the side more appreciative of your voice. It's an amusing devise that you've accomplished here, one I hope will shine light on the darker corners our dear Gotham is so intent on hiding.

There is always power to be found in the citizens' hands, after all.

The people there are surprisingly resilient.

[ Not smart, not particularly moral, but...resilient. He's yet to see a disaster Gotham hasn't weathered. ]

On the contrary, like the stabilization of a nuclear reactor or the orchestration of an opera, balance is all a matter of timing.

An admirable trait, in a more innocent of personality. But as Gotham has fallen into its own decay, admirable traits become obstacles to be obliterated.

[ A dry if not ironic statement. Bane's rhetoric would have a heroic bent if not for what he was proposing. ]

It is not a matter of station. I am Gotham's reckoning. For too long, the city has remained content in its decay.

I belong to a League of an entirely different nature. Justice is far too abstract for my liking.
