I've moved on to closets, they're harder for little snowflakes to break in to.

Because, dear Jack, eventually you will and eventually you'll be completely dependent on their belief in you to function as a walking popsicle.

And then they'll start to forget because the world changes and eventually winter will be soemthing only found in the arctic circles where humanity can only survive for a few months because there's no sunlight half the year.

If he needed believers, then he'd had faded long ago and he doubted MiM would suddenly make him have a quota after all this time. Besides...] Someone's gotta shepherd winter in, regardless if it ends up only at the poles.

[He's thought about it, and it's not something he's looking forward to. But he also doubted that MiM would let him be extinguished once the planet inevitably died. There were other worlds they could go to, Bunnymund and Sandy were proof.]

Kind of hard to be the spirit of a season when you need believers, Pitch. As much as I'd love to have everyone believe in me, I ultimately don't need them to do what I need to.

Why do you fly on the wind when you have two perfectly good legs to walk with?

[It's, at least in his eyes, a perfectly valid correlation.]

It's easier when you have people who believe in you, you get used to the power it gives you and it becomes as much a part of you as your eyes or sense of touch. When it's gone sure you can still function but it's not the same.

[Jack doesn't see the correlation and simply shakes his head. Wind was his friend and had been there since his revival, why wouldn't he fly on the back of Wind?]

Let me know how that goes when Jack Frost is on the level of Santa Claus, hm?

If one night of bad dreams makes them clinically depressed they're in desperate need of help.
