Canon is Legend of Mana
Mun,
I have put up with a great deal of your behavior thus far; don't test me further by deciding to take on Alexander. He may have been forgiven for his atrocious sins, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who still has sore feelings for the matter.
He did, after all, help perpetuate genocide of his own species.
But let me ask you one question: WHY. It isn't like you'll run into many - if any - castmates, and we both know that you still actively look for them. You won't find them at this rate. Cease this idle toying and focus on something more productive.
If you must, perhaps I may suggest -- { :D?!!}} -- Yes, that one. Pick him up instead. I've yet to see anyone pick him up, after all.
Don't you dare botch it. He may be regarded as a "blank/silent protagonist" but that by no means gives you the leeway to do whatever you want.

Oh my god! :D My joy, please have it. <3 Have it all!
*His hand flies to the hilt of his sword, and it takes a lot of willpower not to draw it.*
No one asked you!
I couldn't help myself- it was this or male!MC :B
[Glasses-adjust.]
But I'm afraid my point stands- I never asked for anyone's forgiveness.
Gaaaaaah! <3 Can I friend you???? :D I would love to thread forever and ever with either!
*Scowling, he doesn't drop his hand from his blade.*
If it was up to me, you never would be - forgiven, nor alive. *He still remembers how you ripped out his core, you jerk. -- Also, mun is still in the process of reviewing and isn't relying on manga canon, shhh.*
{And I kinda ship Elazul/male!MC... >>; }}
go for it!! i don't think i've ever seen castmates here, gosh
[Don't worry, the mun just likes the manga for iconing purposes. Regardless, Alex just shrugs Elazul off.]
What of your darling Pearl? And your foolish stone guardian?
I post in places like this from time to time.
Don't tell me you don't remember that the artificer brought every last one of us back?
*The mun doesn't remember much about his Guardian, unfortunately...*
Everyone. Or did you hit your head too hard when you fell from pulling out your own core?
{By the way! I have an open post here: http://blue-hearted-jumi-knight.dreamwidth.org/1923.html that you're welcome to tag into. :) }}
Sorry cant NOT write ManaHeroine in pretentious prose, you don't gotta mirror. |D;
The Heroine smiled as she folded back the pages and entered, anticipating the reunion warmly, but the expression faded into a frown as she took in Elazul’s argument with his own writer. How could she explain to him how she understood Alexandra’s Mana in what they had done, as twisted, dark, and tragic as it had almost become? Perhaps she couldn’t.
She would not cry again, of course. Her eyes wouldn’t even suggest moisture. It was over, now. Long over. But she would cautiously reach out, putting her hand comfortingly on Elazul’s shoulder that was flesh, not stone. And she would look at him, stern, gentle, and expectantly.
“…?”
jflasj;lfaej;! It's fine. XD gosh. So many castmates. <3<3 ILUgaiz. <3
His breath catches, for just a moment. His normal hand lifts a beat later, reaching out to her, but stops shy of making contact.
"Are you even here...?"
He's glad that his mun, while defaulting to male!MC, is accommodating of female!MC.
ditto the apology
"..."
It may be best that he backs off. The hand fell, eyes shifting to his sister with a small, sad smile.
He can watch and wait. She can go first.
Ahaha, it's fine, oh god. <3 My face hurts from smiling.
With two people vying for his attention, he's not sure what to do about it.
{Also, uh... post order? I don't want to leave anyone behind. <3}}

Male? Female? Two sides to one coin. Like the wane and waxing of the moon. Like Mana. Like love. In a land such as this, where even time’s linear path is knotted and skewered, Elazul was gifted the strangest of circumstances, and was able to see both faces of The Artificer.
The touch to the Nascent One was almost-but not returned. She expected it, though. After all, his loyalty to his guardian demanded to be above all, as expected of a Jumi Knight, right? To deny jealousy was to deny Mana, but she could not bring herself to hate.
The Heroine’s hand slid down his shoulder, the minuet touch of their bodies being cut short as her fingertips drifted over his arm cuff before pulling away. The smile returned, softer this time, before nodding.
“Yes.”
She was here. Right now, right here, they were together in total entirety.
Let me just say, I want to friend you all. ;A; Tag me for all the feelz! :D
But here, Elazul was bereft of his restored Guardian. Perhaps oddly, in his Guardian's loss, he had found himself thinking far more of other beings. Of other people.
Of the Artificer.
A body was indeed just so. And although the female's form wasn't something he was familiar with on one level, he knew her to be who she was.
Without a doubt.
Glancing back to the male, he then gently pulls the female to himself, and then reaches out to the other, pulling him also into the embrace. He tucks his head down, however, embarrassed. He doesn't have the patience to make one of them wait.
sorry, drinky time a bit~~~
However, he adjusted in stages, relaxing in to the embrace, even going and returning the affection- an arm around his sister as well, of course.

The Heroine was the one to make a noise, being the current voice for The Artificer’s coexistent emotions. Elazul’s gesture had been abrupt and unanticipated, but was not harsh or unwelcomed. Her eyes were wide and bright as she looked across to her brother, before gently settling within the dual grip of the two males. Her own arms finished the embrace as they wrapped around the two’s figures, fingers gripping the fabric of their clothing.
She had never felt so close, so complete, yet still so separated. The sensation was almost overwhelming. Gently closing her eyes, The Heroine allowed herself a moment of quiet, contemplative peace, tugging at the spectral veil that split The Artificer, allowing for a turn of the coin. All the while she simply listened to the beating of a shared heart and the shimmering pulse of a bejeweled one.

Dying once had an impact on a person.
"I was starting to think that we'd never meet again." Embarrassment colors his voice, and he dares not to raise his head. "Even if it's only this once and never again... I'm glad." It's a raw, honest confession. Mind, don't make him repeat himself - he won't like it.
no subject
"We're glad too, Elazul."
She was the emotion, the heart- and he the voice and soul of the pair. It was only natural that her quiet nature turned so easily to the opposite.
"We've missed you, dearly."
no subject
Not that Elazul could know or possibly even understand any of this, of course. This was The Artificer’s burden; to be "awake" was to echo Fa’Diel’s past as an unstable, tattered landscape.
The joy in The Hero’s words was emphasized with a soft nod, and the affection was mirrored in how The Heroine’s hand caressed Elazul’s back warmly before solidifying into a strong, friendly grip.

"...This is embarrassing." Well, he started it, so he only had himself to blame for it. "That, and I've only met one of you in my world. You." He glanced over at the Hero, then averted his eyes. "But I can't help feeling that you..." He looked to the Heroine. "are very familiar, even though I've never seen your face before now."
His lips curled into a wry smile. "I wonder how that works."
{The sensation from added feels while replying and listening to the OST? Huge. But yes. Seriously, if you guys see me anywhere, please don't be shy about tagging! Anywhere. :D (I'm sure you can tell how overwhelmingly excited I am...)}}

The boy gave a small frown, looking to his sister. They'd never...told anyone, or even discussed it. Their dual-nature was always just something they accepted.
"We're one soul." His smile came back, small and sad as he explained. "She and I are one- but our bodies are different. Like Alexander, if Sandra was severed from him." He looked over at his sister, nodding. "We were the Artificer in years past, split by the Sword of Mana."
no subject
“One Sword with two rings…” She murmured after The Hero had given his explanation, though it seemed more of a spoken thought than a proper continuation. “ … One Tree with two...”
no subject
"It's a strange concept, but I'm pretty sure I understand it."
He wondered why the Sword had split them into two. Was it something that only the Artificers could understand?
"I have one more question. What do you mean by "in years past"?" Did they mean in the recent past or... a time before?

*His lips curl into a faint smile.*
I didn't expect any of them to find me right here. So I suppose... I had given up a bit too soon.

Yeah.
no subject
Good!
[She seems terribly chipper about the whole thing.]
no subject
...
*But now he's left staring at her, unsure what else to say. Halp!*
no subject
It looks like you've had a bit of luck with that, though. That's good to see.

*He lightly touches his own core with his left hand.*
Hers was on the verge of shattering from all the tears she was shedding for us. For a long time, she was the only one who could cry. Alexander wanted to gather 1000 Jumi cores to grant his wish. So he did.
My mun tells me it's different between timelines, but the 999th core is either mine or Pearl's.
no subject
So they take power out of you? [His own hand goes over her heart.] Why is it like that, do you know?
Either way seems harsh. [He hesitates, frowning.] Has that happened for you, or…

It was... a terrible pain, for a moment, then came numbness. I felt dizzy, and I held on as long as I could. Then... when I woke up, I was in the Underworld: the land of the dead.
*He shakes his head, moving one hand to grip the opposite upper arm, uncomfortable.*
I don't know why it's like that. Or how the Lord of Jewels explained it to Alexander. I only know that it happened.
no subject
[He shudders- he can only imagine, but that's quite enough.] Can't have been a particularly pleasant awakening. …may I ask what you did next?
[He nods, accepting that, and frowns.] This Lord of Jewels… what are they?
no subject
*He then sighs.* As for the Lord of Jewels, I didn't see it first hand. Supposedly, it was a monster similar to the Jewel Beast. A creeping thing with four legs and a long neck, with claw-like jaws for a head. Then it turned into something like a strange-looking shark, I think I was told.
no subject
Huh. [It does sound a little similar to the Jewel Eater, though he doesn't think that had much of a neck.] Possibly not the most trustworthy of sources, then.
no subject
I only know that I died and returned to life with a renewed core.
*He shrugs a little. Not much else he can help with.*
no subject
That's good. It's… well, you're still fairly young, right? …well, comparatively.
So. [He rubs the back of his neck.] Are there any plans in store for you, do you know?
