That's low and you know it.
First of all, it's indecent. She has a boyfriend for Father's sake! She seems like she'd make a good friend. Why would I want to make it awkward?
Second, she's human. That means barring disaster or the end of the world, I'll outlive her not just by years but by centuries if not millennia! I know that in Nautilus the same problem doesn't exist, but it's still going to be lingering in the back of my mind and you know it!
Stop snickering and pay attention to me!

[Just as her sister would, Beverly wonders who this girl-with-a-boyfriend-who-is-friends-with-Kid could be.]
But you never know what could happen!

Just live in the now and let that messy business sort itself out later.
[She needs to find popcorn. Now.]

I can't do that! What if he's planning a future with her? Or she with him? I can't drive a wedge between them! I'd be a homewrecker!
[Five, hope you enjoy the show.]

You have something in common. Good stuff, love.
That way you can get to know each other better.
