It's quite nice of you to go to all of this effort for me. I appreciate it, but let me make this clear: If you're trying to send me to some odd place away from home, the only place I want to go is Narnia. I'd really rather not go anywhere else.

I'm not saying I don't want you there. I do. We all miss you, Lu especially. It's just that... it's just that it's always better to be cautious, that's all.

What sort of things do I need to be prepared for?

[practicality]

Well... you'll be arriving there almost naked. [ yes, because this is a topic that's very apt to be discussing with one's brother, isn't it? ] Then there's the device we use to communicate with each other - though I'm certain you'll find it quite easy to use, in time.

...also, there's the fact that day never comes to the city - it's always night in there. The need to forage for food, some quite suspicious people roaming the streets, the city almost always toying with us in different ways... need I go on?

How did you manage to find your bow?

[practicality]

I'm... not quite sure, actually. There was this person who claimed she found it in her home, I believe - though she's also not certain how it got there. [ she shrugs. ] Not that I'm complaining - although I wish I have some of my arrows with the bow, too. The ones I'm using aren't as good.

Maybe that's the city toying with people again. At least you've got the bow... I don't know what city would be stocked with arrows even now. Much less a sword.

[practicality]

There might be some residents who could help you get one, though. I remember some people offering their services for free - it seems that doing something for others is a way for them to alleviate boredom. Or you could get one from one of the most recent addition to the city. A mall, I think it's called?

Proper smithing takes time, I suspect, but that's good to know. Hopefully it's good craftsmanship at this mall place, especially if I'm going to need that blade.

I'm not certain about its craftsmanship, but any blade's better than nothing. Besides, I've kept some short knives I've collected from when I arrived in the city - you can use them until you obtain your own.
