One of the sharpest criminal minds I've encountered. (And that is saying something.) I highly doubt any prison could hold him.

That too can be a tricky ordeal. (As seen with Blackwood.) I'd much rather kill him myself.

I was caught off-guard by his actions. Up until I interfered with his plan, things were going smoothly.

You shouldn't involve yourself with men like that at all, they have no morals. But, I'm sure you knew that going into the whole business.

It is better to use than be used. (Irene is a hardened woman.) I've dealt with my fair share of men who pretend to have morals.

[ Drawing himself up, the primness of what he says next isn't without very real conviction. ]

Unfortunately such worthlessness pollutes society. (She looks away.) Maybe you're different.

One would hope so if your duty is to keep the peace.

Then again, I can think of more than a few unsavory ways to ensure everything is peaceful.

Sometimes we lapse into aggressive negotiations, but they are never without just cause. I can promise you that.
