[It is white as far as the eye can see. A little town was not too far off, the lights pale and dim in the falling snow around him. Ace stood just outside of earshot dressed up to protect himself against the cold he couldn't feel. He did it mostly because he was tired of the stares from other townsman and even his crew mates. People tended to gawk when they saw a half naked man in the middle of a blizzard and also because he promised a certain someone he would come in disguise. Even his trademark hat was missing in favor of a stocking cap. He really hoped the other man showed up. He had chosen this spot because of its proximity to the person he really wanted to see. Though at this point he was sure anyone would be welcome company]

Dearest Mun....thank you for my white Christmas. Though I can't feel the cold anymore it is simply beautiful out here and I thank you for this. Without your help I wouldn't have been able to sneak away from the others for a bit of downtime alone.

Only one thing would make this better. [holds out his hand to catch falling flakes] Merry Christmas, everyone. I wish you all could be here.

[Sanji grins, softly, and raises a mug of his hot chocolate (with a little dash of rum, for flavour, of course) towards him.]

Merry Christmas, Ace. I hope you're fairing well, wherever you are?

Sanji? What are you doing here? Why aren't you with Luffy and the rest of them?

*blinks, then looks about in confusion* Ahh... This is... Dear Mun, right? Or is this somewhere else? Damnit. Don't tell me the Marimo's condition is contageous...

*He frowns a little at the question, then shakes his head* Ahh... no. Not yet, at least, in my game.

No this is dear mun. I just wasn't really expecting anyone to respond is all. I still don't have a home, but that's alright. [smiles very warmly]

Still it's nice to see a friendly face. How are things going where you are?

Ah. I didn't mean to intrude, then. [He gives Ace a sheepish grin. And heh... not many people could smile warmer than Ace could!]

Things are going well for me. My restaurant is up and running, and I'm potentially getting a crewmate, soon. Here's hoping you'll find a home.

And that's great to hear! I'm glad things seem to be working out for you and yeah, it would be nice to find a home to stay at. Oh, you wouldn't have any more of that hot chocolate would you?

[Sanji grinned. No... this wasn't the time of year to be alone. Company was most definitely welcome.]

You have to ask? [He grins, then hands Ace another mug, along with a flask of rum. Ace can add however much he wants, to his heart's content.] Have you been looking at any places in particular?

I was looking at Discedo but they closed so now I'm just following my Mun as she talks to her friends about other games. She's..picky? I suppose is the nice way to put it.

[accepts the mug with a thanks and adds a shot of rum before handing the flask back. Sips it and smiles brightly.] This is delicious Sanji!

Ahhh, that's a shame. Well, nothing in wrong in making sure you go to a game you know you'll enjoy. You want to make sure you're making the right choice. There are so many games out there, it must be a little overwhelming for the lady.

[He sets the flask down between them, as well as a thermos full of hot chocolate, for refills. He grins, proudly, at the praise.] You expect anything less of me? [He winked, then took a sip of his own drink.]

I hope so, I really would like a place to kind of settle down.

Anything less from you, Sanji would still be excellent. I doubt you could make something taste bad if you tried. [He, Like Luffy, is a lover of food! Though...he does typically wind up wearing his...]

[Sideways glance at him.] So what sort of places are you looking for...?

[He chuckles.] Heh... you and Luffy are so easy to please. Though I doubt my captain ever actually TASTES anything he eats.

Nothing to based in horror...so my mun says. She's got a bit of a "phobia" of overly scary things. [he said making air quotes around the word phobia.]

And yeah, Luffy is special. He probably tastes it a little but well...I suppose that's my fault. When we were kids you had to eat as fast as you could or else someone else would eat it.

Ah. Yeah. My mun isn't too fond of those, either. *he clapped his hands together, cooing a little* Ladies are so ~cute~ when they squeal and cling to you for security....

{Mun interjects, reminding Sanji of... hello... spiders?}

[Sanji coughs sheepishly, tugging a little on his tie.] Well, to be honest... I'm not too fond of 'em, either. I'm not AFRAID... just don't like 'em.

[Sanji chuckled roughly at that, sitting back and taking a few more sips of his hot chocolate.] Figured it'd have to be something like that. He training us well, on the Merry, too. I try to keep on top of him, and stop him from stealing the ladies' food... but it's every man for himself at mealtimes.

{Mun interjects and thanks Sanji for understanding}

I don't really care either way to be honest. I just wanna have fun and live my life. [laughs]

I'm sure that it is difficult keeping him in line sometimes.

{Of course Sanji would side with the ladies! ^_~}

[Sanji grinned, an understanding smile on his face.] You sound a LOT like Luffy, that way. It's not a bad way to live your life...

[Sanji then groaned, exageratedly, rolling his eyes.] You have no idea. ...No, wait. Maybe you DO being his brother and all... but I SWEAR, the guy's probably gotten worse. It's near impossible to keep him contained, if he's set his mind on something.

No...he hasn't changed at all. He was like that when he was 7 and he's like that now that he's grown. When Luffy get's something stuck in his mind its impossible to get it out. But it's Luffy so it will all work out alright.

[spiral_brow]

[Sanji grinned wryly.] Something tells me Luffy will never change. And you know what? I'm actually okay with that. It'd be odd to see him any other way.

You're right. It would be horrible if Luffy ever changed. He's so special and he understands things on a basic yet complex level that most people would never get. Plus he will never abandon you. Ever. Even if you hurt him Luffy will always be loyal to those he loves.

[Sanji's grin grew soft and gentle.] Mmm... yeah. He can confound us, sometimes, when he shows those moments of insight... but I know he'll always have our backs. He's always looking out for us, so... we'll always look out for him, too.

[Sanji just nodded faintly in agreement, then chuckled and grinned as he looked over at Ace.]

Should have known you D's couldn't go long without food... So, what would you like to eat, then?

Meat! Lots and lots of meat!

[Sanji rolled his eyes. Why was he not surprised. He shook his head in amusement, and headed off towards the kitchen (is there a kitchen in this place?).] Lots and lots of meat, coming right up...

[Ace grinned widely and followed Sanji inside.]

[Yay for these nexus/meme/whatever places, and well-stocked kitchens when you needed them! Sanji picked out a few good, thick steaks from the fridge, and began putting together some spices for it while the oven heated up.]

Take a seat. Shouldn't be too long. Want something to drink while you wait?

[Huzzah indeed!!!! Ace is sitting somewhat patiently, though compared to his brother he's exceptionally behaved at the moment, waiting for his food to be finished so he could eat it. It smelled so good and had his mouth watering in anticipation for the fabulous food he knew Sanji could prepare.]

Do you have any more whiskey and hot cocoa?
