Believe it or not, yes. My father always taught me to do the right thing, but he didn't want me to go and fight crime. Even though he was proud i would, he was worried that if someone say me using my powers, someone would come take me away, and he'd never see me again.

I think that gives him all the more reason to be worried. He knows what you might see as a policewoman. He loves you enough not to want you to see it. In his own way, he's trying to protect you. I know you might not want it, or that it feels like he's babying you, but it shows that he cares.

He's not trying to baby you. He just doesn't want to see you get hurt. Whether or not you can handle yourself, he's still going to be afraid for your safety. He's a dad. It's his job.

I can understand that. But sooner or later, he'll come around, if it's what you really want. I still hope you tell him, but it's your choice.
