Bandwagon? What is this?

A year is not so long to wait, writer. The journey of Thorin's Company will be continued before you know it.

I will not lie; I, too, anticipate seeing the splendour of my father's kingdom in the Greenwood. I only wish the dwarves might have traveled through in a time when the Necromancer's corruption had not blighted our land. Then all the world might have seen it at the height of it's beauty.

The beauty of the Greenwood is well known, even with the blight of the Necromancer. I believe they will do your home great justice.

[she's happy to see you, legolas.]

How can they not? I should like very much to walk beneath the shades of your country.

[ her eyes danced, lips curling into a teasing smile as well. ] I'm afraid my brothers would have had to entertain the company well; I would have been staying with my Lady Galadriel in Lothlorien, during that time. I was very unhappy to hear that I'd missed meeting Thorin Oakenshield and his friends.

[...With the bandwagons...]

Say what you will, but they have no patience. This Woman will gnaw my ears off before the end.

[Her imagery, not his, however disturbing it may be.]
elvenking: (Thoughtful)

As do I. [Even though no one believes it. Something about being old as hell.] It does not change what you will have to endure.

[What we all have to endure. Ugh. Eager fans.]

Our writers may better acquaint themselves any time they wish, Legolas. [In fact, Thranduil is already stuck in a game. While his mun is rereading The Silmarillion.]

Thorin the dwarf? [He narrowed his eyes.]

Are you it is wise to aid a dwarf?

[personal profile] prissy_elf 2012-12-21 09:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Hm, perhaps. Do not endanger yourself though, Legolas.

[personal profile] prissy_elf 2012-12-22 08:09 am (UTC)(link)
[He nodded.] King Thranduil holds you in high esteem, Legolas. Perhaps he knows that you will not fail the quest as you are bound with your loyalty and your skill with the bow.

Legolas. [He bowed some. Ok, he had to, alright?]

I will be grateful if you wish to aid our quest. [This time.]

[personal profile] sonof_thrain 2012-12-21 09:54 pm (UTC)(link)
There is room for an elf. [Yes, believe it or not.]

I was wrong to judge your kind so harshly.

[personal profile] sonof_thrain 2012-12-22 08:08 am (UTC)(link)
After the kindness that Elrond of Rivendell showed us....I cannot be so hateful as I once was. Perhaps, the mists have been blown from my eyes.

Legolas, are you keen with the bow?

[ There's a very fat dwarf watching you with obvious suspicion, Legolas. One of his tubby hands clutches a skillet. ]

Could get me something to eat, lad! No leafy stuff. [ Elf food couldn't ALL be leafy stuff, right? ]

That would be an interesting concept.

Of course you should. Greenwood is a beautiful land maybe even more so than Rivendell and Lorien. Once the darkness has passed you may get your request after all.
