What in heaven's name were you thinking, mun?

I know I've told you many times that I hated being a prisoner. But you insisted on keeping me inside your head for many years. I rebelled against it every single day, and you wouldn't let me out. Hell, you locked me in deeper in that chaotic brain of yours.

And now, what do you do? Just because you see that fallen angel make an inconsequential post, you create a journal for me! You clearly have the wrong priorities. Of all people why him? Why not my brother?

Come on, let me just hit you in the head once. I swear it won't hurt as much as I would hope it should.

Good is living in peace and enjoying life with everyone. It's not committing genocide just because you consider some race inferior to yours. It's protecting your family and friends with everything you've got. It's fighting for TRUTH, JUSTICE, AND FREEDOM!

[fallenhalf]

I'm afraid I have to admit that your definition is quite noble.

But how can you be sure that the people you are living in peace with, are not faking that peace. Something for show, to cover the horrid behavior and actions they have and will commit.

Also, to acquire that peace, you admit to having to fight for it, which eventually leads to someone's death.

[terreifying]

Because we're all too busy fighting against the Angels.

[She frowns just a little before speaking again.]

Even if someone must die, I will not let it be anyone that I like!

This means that you define good and evil, depending on the predisposition of the person you like.

And I don't suppose the person you like is someone who resides in heaven.

You seem especially and unusually close to humans for an angel...

Curiously, what qualities do these humans possess for you to like them enough to kill others?

[terreifying]

Mommy and Daddy are both very nice and loving, and they respect others more than the Angels would. Humans are also very stubborn in their desire to live. When pushed, they can rise to new heights each and every time.

[fallenhalf]

I cannot generalize. But not all angels are as bad as you think. In fact, sometimes, the worst angel is actually the one with the most noble heart. And he can be very stubborn too. He reminds me of the best qualities that humans have.

[terreifying]

How would you define "worst" then? If he's noble, then I guess I can let him go with a few punches.

[fallenhalf]

This angel I speak of was tasked to be the worst angel. They said, it was his job to be pure evil. So that humans will know the difference between good and evil. He accepted this hard and lonely task. Even if I know in my heart that he wasn't pure evil, because of his actions.

[terreifying]

...You can't just do that to someone.

[Rei looks serious now.]

Everyone has to choose good and evil for themselves. No one can be tasked to act as the absolute evil for all of humanity.

[fallenhalf]

Unfortunately, it was done to him. He was asked to be the very symbol of evil. So that people might fear him, and in hopes to bring humanity closer to light and good.

[She tried to explain with a gentle expression in her eyes]

Before he did that, he used to be the General of heaven's army. The strongest and kindest of all angels.

[terreifying]

Couldn't he refuse? Tell whoever told him to be evil that he wanted to be good?

[fallenhalf]

No. He could not. They said that it was his only purpose in life

[terreifying]

That's wrong. That shouldn't be anyone's only purpose in life.

[fallenhalf]

He rejected it, with all his might. He rebelled, thus we first met each other.

But in the end, he couldn't step away from the path that was paved for him.

[terreifying]

Maybe it's only a matter of time. A child's first step into adulthood is rebellion against their parent. So if he keeps on fighting, he won't need to walk a path that was already laid out for him.

[fallenhalf]

Even if he did obey the orders he was given for millions of years. Until the very end he tried to fight it.

[terreifying]

Then that makes him a good angel after all.

I'd like to think so. But of course, his superficial actions needs accounting for.

[terreifying]

What sort of superficial actions did he do?

These superficial actions were evil enough to have earned him various titles among the humans. Prince of Evil, Prince of Destruction, Prince of Waste, Prince of Lies, Lord of Demons, and Lord of Darkness, are the most decent titles.
