Just saw the Hobbit and brought this guy out.

While I can see why it made you think of me, I do not understand why you made me watch it as well.

...No, I do not sympathize with the orcs as they are depicted there. They remind me of what Grom told me our people were before the great wars... I will admit it feels odd to sympathize more with the dwarves than those sharing my people's name.

Hrm... it would be best if you simply focused on returning to Azeroth. A lot has changed, and while I trust in my allies and the leadership of the Horde in my absence, but I would like to return to Orgrimmar. I just wish Chen's people were left out of our war.

[...That's an orc. That's an orc. An orc speaking Common. What in the Twisting Nether...?]

...uh...

The Horde could certainly do with your assistance, Go'el.

Your people are going through a crisis of identity. The manner in which they decide to emerge from the war in Pandaria will determine the destiny of the entire world.

...sooo about that trusting in the leadership of the Horde.

And what about Hellscream Junior?

[personal profile] swiftdawn 2012-12-19 11:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Well... er, I don't know how to break it to you, sir, but Cairne's dead.

[ ...holy light have mercy. ]

Just before the Shattering. No one told you?

[...is it even appropriate in this situation to get out an umbrella? Diplomatic instinct says probably not. Oh well.]

Yes, of course—and very important work you've done. But, er, yeah—well, it was a bit of a mess, to be sure, although Baine seems to be adapting well, last I heard.

[ she rubs the bridge of her nose in exasperation. she's seen too much death in her relatively short lifetime to be too cut up about it, but the whole thing was so unnecessary.

deeeeep breath. ]

There was a... well, a misunderstanding. In retrospect, it looks like it was almost certainly engineered by the Twilight Cult... an attack on a meeting of druids in Ashenvale, made to look like it was being carried out on the Warchief's orders. Archdruid Runetotem, who escaped, informed Cairne, who, ah, went straight to Warchief Hellscream and challenged him to a mak'gora. [ cough. ] Original rules.

...For what it is worth, you are not the only one who feels guilty about bringing the war to Pandaria's shores.

[She doesn't blame you, Thrall, rest assured on that. That said, she's still in a non-agressive stance. Very, very controlled. Practiced. Willful. As she's not just Alliance, but a Death Knight as well. She notes where his hand goes--as he might be able to tell where the brightest point of the glow to her eyes goes, but says nothing of it. She has no quarrel with Thrall. Garrosh Hellshoulders on the other hand...]

As would I, but the War seems much like a curse, dragged forth to wherever we discover, much to our dismay.

[Also: Her writer feels guilty about dragging the war to Pandaland's shores too. :\ This ain't gonna end prettily for anyone involved.]
