You do know that dithering around won't get my app written, don't you? I'm well aware that thousands of years of history is a little daunting, but I'm sure you can just fudge bits here and there. The Dark Ages were terribly boring, after all, and I can't say I got up to much.

Not to mention that they really do need me over there in Baedal. Now, I wouldn't say anything bad about their Twelve Point Divinity, I'm sure they're lovely gods, but they could clearly use a miracle or two from Up There.

I will miss London, though.

Neither am I, technically. The accent just seems to have stuck.

I'm sure I can manage to get some Christmas lights, although it's a little late in the season for that, don't you think?

Well I'm not gonna put them up in my apartment. They just need to exist around town.

I'm afraid creating Christmas lights and decorating the city might not count as a miracle, unless I'm using a very broad interpretation of the word.

It's a lovely place, I thoroughly recommend it if you ever get the opportunity to go.

Problem is I don't know if it's still there! Might be gone like LA, might not; no one seems to know what even's going on in Europeland. Then again, I'm kind of stuck in the USA unless I can find a boat or something, so that's that. Not like there's not enough to do here, but I always did want to tour Europe. It would be kind of a disappointment if all the fun places were nuclear wastelands.

Oh dear. It sounds like something's gone quite wrong in your world. Wastelands, did you say? How did that come about?

Well, I'm pretty sure they came from the nuclear bombs, although no one's really sure who started the whole business now. I heard some stuff about Iran, North Korea, and England being some of the launchers, although that doesn't make a whole lot of sense on its own, so who knows? 'Course, it doesn't really matter now, does it?

You've answered your own question; he's my friend, has been for 6000 years. You get to know a person well after that much time.
