I'm not doubting you ma'am. It's just you don't have the best record for these sorts of things. The last time you managed to keep someone around was, well, never. I don't see why I'd be any different.
Just don't blame me when you get that silly song in your head every time you log in.

I may have heard it a few too many times.

I'm sure you have, but I haven't. Just like I haven't seen enough of you.
[The words are accompanied by a soft smile that slowly turns wry.]
There are many reasons why you could be different than the others, Steve.

[He realizes a moment later that came out less sweet than intended and more something else altogether. Moving on.]
That's kinda what she's telling me.

They seemed to enjoy it at the time.
[It had been one of the best things about the tour. The joy it inspired, the hope it brought. The patriotism if you will.]

I'm not sure what that is. Don't think I wanna know.

It's Nyan cat. A thing on Youtube. Obviously. It's like this midi music to a cat that's shaped like a pop tart flying across the universe. This is an American medley for the Fourth of July, and you being...yeah, it's just an American. Thing.
And you're Captain America, so. America all the way across the universe, apparently.

It's definitely patriotic.

[Oh, he'll be snapping his fingers to this one! (It's actually pretty nice, it reminds him of when music was a lot different than it is now. Plus outspoken racism, but that just makes it a proper period piece.]
This must have been while I was off helping the Greek underground, then. I'll have to remember it, my thanks Captain!
But the tune I recall, well.
[He strummed his mysteriously-appearing lyre, took a deep breath, and:]
When Captain America throws his mighty shield...
