You have it bad when Pietro is the voice of the reason
Oh, I am worthy of being your puppet again and I'm supposed to clap and cheer in excitement? Is that it? You can keep on waiting then.
I suppose I am not entirely opposed to spending time outside this place- if those other men and women you give voice to weren't so unbelievably boring staying in this place wouldn't have become so tedious. Nonetheless, and I realize you'll pat yourself on the back at having me saying something like this... you do not have the time.
So cease before you overwork yourself, it would be extremely embarrassing to see you flake while you're giving voice to me. And I am a busy man.

[And he tries, he tries so hard to not sound belligerent when talking to her. He doesn't quite succeed.]
I have been somehow wrapped into a teaching job. My own particular brand of penance, if you must.

( and really she's still of the mind that she has more right to be mad at you than vice versa. )
I'm sure the children are glad you think of it that way.

The children care more about their interpersonal relationships than actually learning.
...Most of them, anyway.

( she quirks a brow. it's not like she doesn't care about him, and she does care about his life. who knows, the teaching might be good for him. )

But enough of talking about me. I want to know about your life at the place your mundane send you to live in.

I'm fine, Pietro--as ever. The Hold isn't as awful as you might expect, considering we're forced to be there. In fact if it weren't for that fact, and certain separations, it might even be tolerable.

[He doesn't like how that sounds, but he guesses that's enough. She did always tell him he worried too much even when they were together.]
Is it dangerous? I have seen the things my mundane does to the others sometimes. They are not desirable.

( She sighs, brushes the hair away from her face. )
It is dangerous. There's a war going on, of course it's dangerous. But it is not the worst, of such places.

[ 8|!!!!! she's still mad about that stealing thing. ]

[You didn't expect an apology or something like that, did you Medusa?]

[ She'd have suspicions that he wasn't who he claimed to be if he had. ]
If you do intend to find yourself at Exsilium, you would do well to keep away from Crystal.

As has my daughter. [And he tries for non-nonchalant but... well. It is his daughter.]

[ Well that Medusa can understand - Ahura's own spurring of her desire to finally be a mother to him cut deep. But time changed that, and she's never been happier for the chance to right old wrongs. ]
If Luna has any desire to initiate further contact, she will do it herself. Any attempts made by yourself to ignore her wishes will be dealt with as we see fit.
[ Not that Medusa even believes in letting Luna see Pietro alone if her niece decides to see him again, but that's neither here nor there. ]

Emotional blackmail, sister? I expected better from you.
no subject
[You always get smiles, bro. Well, most of the time anyway.]

And I have to ask, are you happy there? Is your mundane treating as well as you deserve?
no subject
[look at everyone whose ever been unhappy with you showing up in one post.]
no subject
Luna. You have grown so much. [He crouches to be at her eye-level.] Please tell me your mundane is treating you with all the respect you deserve...
