Excuse me but, though it's my first week here, even I know this is going to get me in trouble. They requested me as soon as I graduated and all, but nothing is going to save me if they find out I'm writing about any of this where people can read it!

I suppose you're right though, that I need to test myself out before I get thrown into the mix. Specially since I want to make the best impression with Dr. ███████.

And what would you do, sir, to protect people from something like SCP-239? Tell me that.

Teach her not to become a risk, she is human like anyone else and if she understands she is not supposed to hurt people she won't. After all you can trust a person with a gun not to unload it into your head.

Just because someone has a tool to kill you does not mean they will. You will notice in that file a stark lack of anyone coming to actual harm.

I would disagree, Karl. How many people were killed just after she was born because she, somehow, decided to blow up the hospital she was born in?

Clearly, they tried to teach her. They tried for all those years to make it work, or how do you believe she got to be the age she did before more precautions were taken?

Because she was a baby and had no control of her powers. I don't think you can blame a child for being born with more power than they could handle at the time.

Is there a single report of death after she grew to age?

I'm saying that an 8-year old child might, just as you wouldn't hand them a loaded weapon - might I point out how many children are killed each year because they find a loaded gun?

Yes but this "gun" only fires deliberately. She would have to think "I want him to die" for her to kill you.

Any 'gun' only fires deliberately - we never fully know the mindset of the person holding the weapon. She could think an endless amount of things to 'kill' me as it were.

While I might not fully agree with what they chose to do, there was a reason and it's not my place yet to say otherwise.

I would imagine the children that die from an actual gun more often than not were not told of the dangers of playing with the weaponry.

Give me one specific example of something she could think that would result in your death without her meaning to kill you?

She could wish the room was filled with water. Or that there was no air. Or we were on the moon. Or that I appeared in the heart of a volcano. Or any number of the other SCP came free. Or that she wanted to see what my heart looked like. Or that my blood suddenly became caramel-- would you like me to continue?

She also made Santa exist so wouldn't you suppose that would also make the situation survivable because she perceived it to be survivable?

Even the Doctor who attempted to order her death was worried he would be perceived as a "good person" and thus would change his actions.

I'm done with this conversation. It isn't my place to question why they made their choices but I know they were for a reason. These people want to protect humanity.

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one. [Tiny sad smile knowing it's painfully true in this case, as well as showing he might be more than just a science-geek.]
