Hmm...
So you say you've got plans, huh?
You could get my opinion on 'em, yanno! I mean, yeesh, I'm not too sure I like the idea of going somewhere I can't race!
I just got a real kart and everything! And Stinkbrain's gonna wonder where I went!
If you're making plans I'm gonna make plans too!
Just you wait, they'll be the best plans ever!! And yours'll be like the clearance candy that nobody wants to eat! Or gum stuck under a desk!
Heh, heh...
Or gum that Ralph chewed! No one would want that, his breath's so stinky!

Eh, it was pretty big. Probably at least three or four times my height. Gotta say, it was pretty bright when it was lit up right.
no subject
...wow... that sounds neat! Who made it?
no subject
North, I guess. Some of the other... [...] Some of the others I know have one too. It does the same sort of thing. I don't have one myself.
no subject
Where can someone get a globe like that?
no subject
Sorry, preeeetty sure that's a Guardians-only thing. What's a kid like you gonna do with a globe like that anyway? It's not exactly mobile enough for a race car.
no subject
Hmmm, well... I could keep it where I sleep and look at it to see when kids are coming to the arcade! ...wait, do the lights move when the kids do?
no subject
Besides, kids should be outside messing around, enjoying the snow, not inside some dingy arcade all day! What kind of fun is that?
[Not that he'd ever been in an arcade.]
no subject
Also it's not dingy. The owner's kind of old but he still knows what he's doing.
[
He hasn't gone out to pasture like his Nana, yet.]no subject

[She shrugs, flashing him the cutest grin she can manage.]
Yes?
no subject
[It uh, looks like he's just kind of talking to himself. And is gonna keep going with that. Yeah.]
no subject
[She puts her hands on her hips, her cheeks puffed out. He seemed to be paying more attention to himself than to her, which she thought was a little rude. A moment later, in a blur of pixels, she vanishes from her spot and reappears right in front of him.]
I'm right here! You could talk to me, yanno.
no subject
[OK THEN there's a not-so-subtle jump of surprise as he grips his staff with both hands and holds across in front of him defensively and takes a step back.]
What did you just do...?!
no subject
no subject
[Yeah he has no idea what that means. Though he does lower the staff a bit.]
no subject
Okay, so, you've got your characters that are programmed into the game, right? They're supposed to be there and everything's all good, so they don't do anything weird, they just play their roles.
Then you've got glitches. Spare code that's ... not really supposed to be there but is for some reason. But since they weren't made to be in the game, their code's not all right. Sometimes that happens.
no subject
[He frowned. Heeee admittedly didn't quite understand how code and programs worked, but that wasn't really the point. He looked away for a moment, before looking back at her with the traces of slightly unfitting grin.]
Y'know, I'm not really sure I believe that.
no subject
Why not? The proof's right in front of you!
no subject
And I don't believe here's anyone around here that isn't supposed to be around. Sometimes it just...takes you awhile to figure out why. Took me a while, that's for sure.
no subject
[That stuns her into silence for a few moments, and then she looks up at him, an odd expression on her face.]
You really think that?
no subject
[He finally sets the bottom of his staff back on the ground, kneeling down to look at her eye level.]
Trust me, I was just like you before; I mean, I didn't "glitch" but I had no idea why I was around. No one I knew did. But I figured it out, with some help. I'm sure you will too.
no subject
[She eyes him as he kneels down, but relaxes after a few moments and smiles.]
...thanks. I'll do it, I know I will. I've got help! The best help ever! ...but I think he got lost 'cause I haven't seen him in awhile.
no subject
Aw, I'm sure he'll show up eventually. He probably just got a little lost looking for your short mug in the crowd, but he'll find ya eventually.
no subject
Yeah, he gets lost a lot! I hope this time he doesn't get covered in taffy.
Hey, how come you carry that staff around? Do you herd sheep or something?
no subject
Oh, this? Well--
[With a bit of a help from a gust of wind, he returned to his feet and returned the staff to a one-handed grip.] It helps me do stuff like this--!
[He flipped it around so the curved end was facing down, and moved to touch the ground in a circular shape around Vanellope, creating an outward-branchig design made of ice to appear on the ground.]
