It is not amusing, dear mun. I believe that you should leave Belle out of those jokes of yours...as well as leave me out as well. Contrary to your beliefs, as the Beast, I was not an "overgrown ball of fur" and Belle was not clamoring to brush me at odd times of the day. However, I do remember that one hairdresser trying to keep me still not a year after the curse was placed.

I will undertake whatever lessons necessary and further desired if it will allow us to leave our castle and see past the small town.

[He's really excited. Ever since he was young, he'd been confined to the chateau. The idea of setting foot in lands far from the ones he'd been told one day be his...could set his heart racing.]

There are mountains covered in vibrant flowers, and creatures that bathe in sunlight and even able to fly through rain.

Not just see them. You could walk upon the same grounds that old book explorers treaded upon. You could sail the seas that had been written within the Odyssey. You could even speak with a man of another language or more! Anywhere you wish to go, I'll go as well. My trusted, dear navigator. [He takes her hands in his.] Leader of the adventures to come.

We can start in France and then our adventure unfolds from there.

Whoever has taken my place in ruling the provinces will not be eager to hand me back power after my long absence. We can take however long we need and return whenever you wish. If anything, the current King of France would be delighted for me to disappear for a time.

I don't think everyone in the castle would feel the same way. Unless of course, you intended to bring them all with us...?

If they wish to come with us. Lumiere would be the most inclined. Cogsworth however... [He puts a hand to his chin, thoughtful, then waves it away.] I was always very good at convincing Cogsworth when I was younger. I am sure I can convince him once more.

You could always suggest he could find a quiet place to relax out there.

If Lumiere were to come with us, Cogsworth might be more inclined to stay behind I think.

I suppose. He can manage the castle. He's been doing so ever since I was made master of the castle when I was about six years of age.
