Spoilers for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic #1
Yeah yeah mun, I get what you're saying: always keep your eye on your opponent. But Fluttershy needed that lesson: you're nice until it's time NOT to be nice! And it worked out okay. For her, I mean. And while we're on the subject, why'd you get both mine AND Fluttershy's covers?
Anyway, Pinkie Pie using her party cannon to stop those Changelings was pretty sweet! The only downside to this whole comic book thing is waiting a month to find out what happens next. A MONTH!
But I was right about me being JUST like Daring Do and everypony taking on a dangerous quest! I'm also right about it being a trap, but not even rolling boulders would stop Daring so bring on those traps!
...Still don't wanna face any ninjas, monkeys OR monkey ninjas!

Whether or not this is true is hard to tell, but it's still very entertaining.]

Wow! Beautiful AND brave. No wonder you're the great and powerful.

Trixie soaks up all that praise. She impressed one of her favorite novel characters!]
'Tis true, my enthusiastic admirer. Not only has Trixie gained this dazzling artifact, but she has also defeated hoards of dragons, felled many a manticore, survived a magic-loathing world, drove away an insect invasion, and even bested The Dreaded Ursa Major!

[She can tell Trixie's a bit of a showboat but Daring has an appreciation for many types of pony. It comes with being so multi-cultural]
no subject
Trixie is pleased to hear you praise her modesty. She always does her best.
no subject
[Reaches forward with a wing to brush back a stray strand of Trixie's hair with her wingtip]
But surely you must have many admirers. Callers. Friends?
no subject
Trixie needs not any friends, but she has amassed many admirers over all the time she traveled in Equestria and from planet to planet on the ship that swims through space!
no subject
Of course being an idol is nice. You have your pedestal, great view of the world below you.
But surely it gets lonely at the top? Never knowing what it's like to have an equal, someone who understands how hard it is to be...well Great and Powerful?

I don't think I could handle it. I do alot of traveling by myself sure but nothing makes me happier then having a warm body to spend the night with. Someone clever to speak with over dinner.
no subject
...You really think Trixie could become a Princess?
[She's not sure how to feel about this. She never even considered herself being higher than The Princesses of Day and Night, let alone their equals. She's always bowed down to THEM.]
no subject
[Strokes her own chin in thought]
That depends. Let's think about this. What are the most important qualities of royalty?
no subject

Now, if I may...history has taught us a few things about the best rulers, particularly in Equestria. One of the first is they must be connected to the people. Big and small. No matter how seemingly insignificant, if they are your subject, you treat them like they are your number one priority.
no subject
[No, she hasn't.]
no subject
How exciting, to discover such potential. You'd be making history.
no subject
[Making history.... That's always what Trixie wanted to do. She always wanted to be a legend. Trixie casts a longing look out into the distance as she thinks of her becoming a legend.]
no subject
[Looks a little disappointed]
That's not exactly it. Give me another let's see how else you've been legendary.
no subject
Ah. Trixie had misinterpreted your question. She shall give you another example of when she had performed legendary feats that would awe those who heard the tale.
[She then goes into another story of where she had saved The Princesses and a group of ponies, including Daring Do herself, from an ancient ruins.]
no subject
Yeah, no. That's pretty legendary, but you still need examples of putting yourself before others.
Sacrifice! Empathy. Real connections. A princess is only as good as her loyal subjects after all. Blind worship does not royalty make. It makes false idols. And you know what happens to false idols.
no subject
Trixie scours her mind for a memory that has sacrifice, empathy, and real connections that she can embellish. ...If she can't remember one, she'll just make one up.]
no subject
You're special. Not legendary yet, but you're getting there.
If anyone can find what's missing it'll be you.
[And to think this all started because she wanted to distract Trixie from Dash]
no subject
The Great and Powerful Trixie will gain her rightful legendary status, just you wait!
[She point an accusing hoof at Daring Do.]
Don't you dare forget that!
no subject
So aggressive.
[Smiiiiiiirk]
I wonder if you're that aggressive in the bedroom.
no subject
Trixie falters, backs up a little, and blushes hard.]
I- I- you- uh...
