[Godzilla flinched. Unlike Miki's more gentle method of psychic communication, Slenderman's was indifferent and invasive, making the pit of his stomach queasy. After taking a moment to see that Slenderman was merely fishing for backstory, Godzilla scowled and showed a mental image of himself as a Godzillasaurus on a island. Then he is in suspended animation under the water, where a nuclear submarine exploded nearby and mutated him to his current form.
