[The Operator watches his prey go. It's always amusing when they think that running or locking doors or shutting windows will solve their problem, but this one will learn in time, he's sure.
...Except he does look a little puzzled at the twenty dollars.
[Well, this is... kind of new, admittedly. Since this doesn't exactly look any human he's ever seen. He'll look as best he can in your direction before speaking as best he can: telepathically.]
[Oh, he makes due, Lace~! And he takes this moment to do one of his favorite tricks: echo your own voice back at you, albeit in a distorted, static-riddled way. Before adding on his own, of course:]
[The Operator will just stand there and stare back impassively at Lace. If he blinks, he may notice that this mysterious entity has gotten a foot or so closer.]
[Ah, jumping, screaming, crying, the Operator's rather used to all these reactions and more. He just stands there impassively, watching her very intently as he so loves to do.
[The Operator definitely senses something different about this one. And it's something he may very well like, since it sure beats the typical fear, crying, begging and screaming that humans throw his way.]
[Oh, it'll take more than that to deter him. He stays where he is, tilting his head.
A strange, low humming noise may be emanating in Lace's head at this point. Interactions with the Operator don't tend to be pleasant or typical, as I'm sure you've guessed.]
[Well, it's not like he's offended by it. Faces are something that humans or other creatures need, after all. Within a flicker of movement, the Operator has moved closer.]
another w o rld
[His version of a question. Because he DOES find this new creature interesting, since he doesn't remember being in THAT particular dimension.]
