I like how you make bad decisions late at night. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. Yeah, yeah, I missed you too. Like a foot misses between-the-toes fungus.
Though you're a bit behind with figuring out what, exactly, is happening back in my world, aren't you? Not that I really blame you. America going to hell in a hand-basket isn't exactly new, but crossovers are always hard to follow. Maybe you should catch up sometime. And finish making those icons you said you wanted to make.
I'm not encouraging anything else, just--... It'd be nice to know I'm not going to be forgotten again.

What about you? Any plans?

No. Well--maybe. Nothing definite. She wants to put me somewhere, she just doesn't know where. Or if it's a good idea since she's "trying to stay away from impulse apps." [ finger quotes get ] If the urge is still there in like a week I'll probably end up someplace.

Maybe you'll get lucky--
Er, which is it you're hoping for?
no subject
Uh... weird as it may sound, I kinda want to go somewhere. I'm not a big limbo fan. Nor am I a fan of going back home.
no subject
I don't think it's weird. Home isn't always all it's cracked up to be. Especially if you've got a lot of drama on your plate, right?
no subject
Exactly. But try saying that to other people. They just look at you funny when you do.
no subject
... It might be easier to say that those other people could understand better if they'd been part of the groups we were part of, maybe.

[ she makes a small, amused sound in the back of her throat. ] When you put it like that, it sounds like we were in support groups. Or that we need one, I'm not sure which works better.

He's my friend and he means the world to me, but we could probably call it "Friends and Associates of Peter Parker." We just miss out on the "Anonymous."
no subject
I'd be more worried about Peter's guilt complex kicking in than having the "Anonymous" there, to be honest.
no subject
Well, he'd technically be welcome to come too.
no subject
Come on, this is Peter. He'd never actually go even if he needs it. [ a beat ] Unless Aunt May made him do it.
no subject
He who probably needs it the most. He never does know what's good for him.
no subject
You can say that again. I swear, looking out for him is like a full time job.
no subject
Even if I think he likes to pretend it's the other way around. But he can barely keep his head on his own shoulders.
no subject
Ain't that the truth. To both those things.
no subject
I guess that's just part of the old Parker charm.
no subject
It's frustratingly endearing, but I'm not sure I'd call it charming.

Sometimes a little distance is best for everyone.

So how do you feel about having company in your spacepocalypse?
