Don't. I know what you are thinking. You've always just done whatever it is that you want, but this time I can't sit quietly. After your initial reaction I didn't think I'd have to worry, but...
I'm happy in that place together. What I've done at home is out of necessity, but don't interrupt my remaining happiness there. If that is truly our last journey together, then I want it to be a happy one. Stop trying to have him go home, only to forget or realize.
And no more. You don't need to send me alone anywhere again. Let things remain as they are, why don't you? That's all I'm asking.
I just...want to be happy for a little while longer.

[Even now he still has that same, hopeless sadness that she's never seen him without. Is the world really so dark?]
They're just a different me and you.

I-- can't say for sure. My thoughts were mixed, innocent, and confused.
[Eyes lifting back to his]
I wanted to be part of the world where my oniisama existed. Because I was never allowed to leave, I thought it must be a beautiful and dangerous place. [Father had been firm on his stance that it was best she remain there. Even when it was Kaname himself who asked for her to go to the surface.]
I wanted to understand what it was like to feel the warmth of the sun, or to feel the cold of the snow, or see a flower for the first time.
[Closing her eyes, swallowing]
I thought that it must be a magical place, like a fairy tale.
