[Toothless has no idea what he's doing here, but for some reason he's all alone and this appears to be the only way he can get out. He growls uncertainly and paces, making mad and quick jumps for anything that looks like an exit. But no luck, everything leads him right back here.]

[He makes himself a nice nest and peers gloomily at everything around him. Why the heck is he here? Shouldn't he be with Hiccup? And where's "here"?]

[A dragon? Oh how interesting! This has Pitch's interest as he appears beside the dragon, thanks to a nearby shadow, looking down at him.]

What a beautiful creature.

[Toothless makes a startled, rumbling sound and lunges to his feet, whirling around to look at Pitch. The look in his eyes is almost accusatory.]

[Pitch holds his hands up, to show he means no harm and even kneels down to his height, being so tall and all.]

My, look at those brilliant eyes. Amazing.

[He's not completely convinced, but he relaxes somewhat, making a questioning sound as Pitch kneels down. Now that he's off high alert, he can consider this person properly. Who is he? What is he? Toothless has never seen a human that looked like Pitch does...]

[He moves forward and sniffs the air, trying to get a handle on Pitch.]

A... dragon? Huh...

[Though she knows WHAT Toothless is, she has never seen a dragon look like that. He's much smoother than her dragons, and rather pretty. She's unmistakeably curious, but also wary since she wasn't the one to summon him.]

[He's still feeling a little sulky from being trapped, but peers at Lillet. A girl? She looks like one he's familiar with...]

[Oh, he's looking at her... well... um...]

[Waving... hrm. Toothless stirs, getting to his feet. But he doesn't cross to her, at least not yet. He's not sure what she wants from him.]

[Was that... a dragon? Looked a lot different than the ones back home.]

[Maybe he should leave it alone, though.]

[Toothless sniffs at Emi, who doesn't smell quite right, somehow. He makes a questioning sound, curled up in his makeshift nest.]

[The blue flame flickered for a second when he turned back around after he heard the sound.]

Huh?

[Did it say something..?]

[He unfolds a little and tilts his head, tail wagging.]

[Oh my god. Oh my godohmygodohmygod a dragon!!]

No way!! I never thought I'd see one around here! A dragon! A real, live dragon!

[Toothless' head comes up. Woah, who's yelling? ...oh. He jumps to his feet nervously, eyes wide, and makes a questioning sound.]

[Oops. He raises his hands, laughing nervously.]

It's okay! Wait, I should be quieter. [He lowers his voice.] I just want to look at you. Please don't set me on fire. Sis would be furious with me if I came home a hot dog.

[no_eels]

[There's a small pause, and then Toothless stills. Surely this little one can't harm him. He approaches him and sniffs deeply, going right up to him.]

[Suddenly there's a young girl stepping in front of Fuyuki, she looks rather alarmed and is raising her hands in front of him, beseeching him to stop.]

Are you crazy! Don't startle a dragon!!

[winteroccultist]

[He steps back, throwing his hands up in submission.]

I-I wasn't trying to startle anyone! I swear!

[Well, that was the appropriate reaction of a novice, but still... that was incredibly stupid and he needs to learn his lesson!]

You need to use some common sense! Even if he's a nice dragon, which he seems like he is, you can never forget that he is still a dragon! If you scare him or make him angry he's perfectly justified to attack you!

So don't be stupid and give the dragon some respect it's due!!

You okay, buddy? You're looking a little... confused.

[Oh, good, Hiccup's here now. He leaps to his feet to tackle him. He was worried, after all!]

H-hey big guy! Alright, you big lizard. You've got fish breath. Lemme up, I'm fine, really.

[What...is that?

M-21 pauses to watch what it's doing.

Toothless might be able to smell M-21's werewolf heart and/or the fact that he's a human experiment. Have fun puzzling out what you're smelling.]

[The creatures here all smell strange, and it's throwing Toothless for a serious loop. He glances up and looks, intently, at M-21. Then he paces, continuing to watch him.]

[M-21 eventually sighs when he realises they're having a staring match.] Are you going to start talking as well?

[After talking cats, ponies, and hearing someone using telepathy, it's a reasonable question.]
