The question should not be asked in those terms. The Gods have their purposes, and the men have theirs. Occasionally, they intersect, and the Gods grant the men the will and powers to do more than they believed possible.

I cannot answer a question that has nos value in itself. What good is it to compare men and gods?

... Who are Pokémon? I do not recognize the name.

Gods are nothing more than constructs that men use to mask their darkest pursuits.

The only thing sacred in life is the effort we all make so that our time in this realm is not spent in vain.

As for what Pokémon are. They are noble creatures who fight for the people of Ransei, sacrificing their more durable and lasting selves so that our blood is not spilled.

Here is what I know about the Gods - they have already chosen. The most glorious destiny of all awaits he who will look forward, even beyond the short span of his life in the mortal realm.

My only wish is to restore the peace and harmony in the land. The greedy Takeda clan of Kai is pillaging and invading other province, all because Takeda Harunobu cannot be content with his lot. I have to protect Echigo, and protect the country, against such cowards who covet what others have.
