Rise of the Guardians, spoilers are inevtiable.

Hey, um Mun, as cool as it is being brought here, I'd like to go home. I mean, the Guardians beat the boogeyman but what if he comes back? They'll need all the help they can get.

[Oh crud, he was hoping he wouldn't see you ever again. But he tries to remain brave. He stood up to him before, he can do it again.]

And? We'll beat you like we did before!

Jamie, was it?

[He chuckles and approaches him, hands behind his back.]

Well Jamie. This realm is larger and different from Earth. There are plenty of people who believe in the Guardians. There are also people who believe in the 'Boogeyman' just as much. Plus, the Guardians won't be around all the time.

I won't be beaten so easily.

[thelastlight]

[He...didn't think about that. But still he looks up at Pitch still trying to keep his nerves up.]

So long as people keep believing in the Guardians they'll still beat you. Even if other people believe in you.

[kingofnightmares]

And you still believe in me.

[Says as he leans down, looking Jamie in the eye.]

Seeing is believing, isn't it?

[Dude. Get out of mah face. >BI

But he shrinks back a little.]

I may believe in you...but I'm not afraid of you.

[FINE, he'll look down at you as he stands up and oh. What's that beside him? Sand fizzles out from the ground and forms a Nightmare, which she stamps her hooves angrily, glowing yellow eyes glaring down at Jamie.]

Ah, but you still believe. And that's enough for me.

[Remember what he and his friends did to your nightmares, Pitch?]

I'm not afraid though. So you won't get that.

[He'll also go to make a poke at your nightmare, in hopes of turning it into dream sand again.]

[The Nightmare snorts and neighs loudly, bucking, keeping away from his prodding fingers.

Pitch frowns thinly, watching his Nightmare's reaction.]

The Sandman won't be able give you pleasant dreams every night, Jamie.

But, he'll be sure to keep the nightmares back...

It's okay! IN TIME there will be. I know I need more for Pitch here, haha.

[kingofnightmares]

But they'll keep coming.

You should have seen Sandy before. He couldn't face my Nightmares all at once. [Pitch says as he remembers to that moment, petting the Nightmare's strong neck.] It was so overwhelming for him.

[Sandy couldn't take on all his nightmares? Well to be fair there were a lot when Jamie first saw them...but he knows for sure that they can be beaten.]

But the Guardians still beat you and me and my friends managed to turn some of your nightmares back into dreams again.

You were able to do that because your Guardians were around.

What would happen if you were alone, hm? Would you still be 'brave' facing down my Nightmares?

[The king of nightmares has a point, but Jamie still stands firm.]

It's because they were there that I could be brave. They needed us and we needed them.

[kingofnightmares]

And around here, in this place. [Of Dear_mun and the internet] They won't be there for you all the time.

[And two more Nightmares spring up behind him.]

[And now Jamie is getting a little more intimidated. But he make swipes at them with his hands, trying to touch them in order to dream sand them.]

At least...I won't be alone.

[kingofnightmares]

[The Nightmares hiss and one of them does get touched, gold sand starting to engulf it. But Pitch raises his hand and touches the Nightmare, black sand returning to its form.]

You're alone at the moment. Are you not?

[thelastlight]

No...not really.

[He is, he totally is. Well, Physically. But the Guardians are in his heart, so does that count?]

[Cue the triumphant music because enter one Tooth Fairy!]

He's not alone and you'd better not forget that.

[kingofnightmares]

[He perks up, surprised, but only for a moment before he rolls his eyes and glares at Tooth.]

You won't be around for him all the time. Or any of the other children out there.

Tooth Fairy!

[Oh gosh is he glad to see her! But it doesn't seem like Pitch is caring too much. He manages to gather some of his nerve back at her appearance.]

But you won't be able to hurt any of us with the Guardians protecting us either.

We'll always be around as long as the children need us. And in case you didn't notice, there's more of us showing up here.

[Of course...there are more of him too, but that is clearly beside the point, right?]

[kingofnightmares]

[Pitch only chuckles and folds his hands behind his back, his three Nightmares pacing behind him, restless.]

And as I'm sure you know, there's bound to be more of me around as well.

If anything, we may be at a stalemate at some point.

[He's not scared in the least bit. People believe in him here, and his power is revived.]

Yeah, just you wait, Pitch! Jack, The Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, and the Sandman will be here in no time. Then you'll be sorry.

I think you underestimate this thing they call "fandom" around here, Pitch. [And yes, she did air quotes there.]

Jack is pretty much the center of this one.

[OH the smile is just wiped away from existence.]

Oh believe me. I have seen the "fandom".

[And there are some things he (and his mun) wishes he didn't see. Pitch waves his hand.]

That's besides the point! I won't be defeated again. [He knows when to pick his battles.]
