She took me to this place called "Nautilus", deciding to pull me from during my time in the Book. [He shudders.] Worse, she pulled me out when I was still under the influence of Madness. Things did not go well.

Yes, but I've at least gotten past the Madness there, so there's a plus.

The place is rather odd though. If you have any sort of powers, they're stripped of you and you have to get them back via a power called Bending that everyone has.

...I'm not sure I like the sound of that, honestly. But, there's worse places to go, I guess.

[Shakes his head.] We may have a Black*Star show up, but I'm not sure.

It's frustrating not to be able to use your powers right away. However, Bending is rather useful, I've found. Still, it's a bit unnerving. People die and don't stay dead there for example.

Actually, it's a city. A sentient city at that if you want to get technical.

It's sort of hard to explain. The city is actually a being named "Nautilus". He's a powerful being known as an aeon which are the ultimate masters of Bending.

He also has a terrible sense of humor and will play jokes and give gag gifts to newcomers.

[Think of Death, Soul. Just think of Death if he was literally one with Death City.]

Eh. Right now? Just trying to play in tempo together. I think it's working pretty good, but what do you think?

As long as you're not running in like Black*Star, I think everything will work out.
