What? Mun, no! You can't let that happen. What if I don't get home that way? What if I end up getting stuck? What if...?!

[The kid is panicking hard here. His mun doesn't want to put him through that either but if worse comes to worse it'll have to happen.]

What about the others? We can't leave them there, even if that does work...

[So, that hand on his shoulder? Rosemary uses it to give him a shove, her reassuring smile vanishing instantaneously.]

Then find someone who isn't so keen on helping you, because you'll get none from me!

[Oh, no you didn't. And suddenly Henry's not looking exactly happy. Not sad, but a bit angry.]

...That was cruel.

No. Cruel would be giving you empty words of comfort, telling you things are going to turn out all right, when chances are they're not.

I told you I'd help you, and I intend to. Tell me exactly what the situation is in this game you're in, and I will tell you exactly what you should expect and what would be best for you to do. And if what I say isn't to your liking, then too bad. I'm not going to sugercoat anything.

[She's sounding a lot like Regina here...even if she wants to help.]

The game I'm in...the world is falling apart and the guy who used to run it has been replaced by someone who's even worse. I'm talking to him now...and I'm asking him if there's a way home.

[Rosemary nods.]

And did he tell you if there was a way home?

Not yet...

Then what are you so afraid of happening? What are you pleading with your Mun about preventing?

That if there's no other way out but dying...I might have to go under the sleeping curse.

The sleeping curse....and how does that work, exactly?

I'll look like I'm dead...but I'll be trapped in a sleep where I'll relive all my worst memories.

[Rosemary closes her eyes and thinks for a moment. This does sound like a tough predicament indeed. The curse would save him from death, but Rosemary wasn't sure what his worst memories were...if they were bad enough so that death was prefrable to reliving them.]

How is this curse broken? If you went under it, would you not only do so because you were ensured a way to be freed from it?

It can only be broken by true love's kiss. But, it's different in Mayfield. Emma's not there...and if it doesn't get me back to Storybrooke...

[It was different in Storybrooke. Emma was there. He knew, he believed she'd save him. But in Mayfield, he's alone. He doesn't have Emma. If the cursed sleep didn't get him out of Mayfield he'd be stuck there, asleep, forever.]

[Right then, that decided it.]

Continue to press the person in charge of this Mayfield for a way back home, one that doesn't involve the curse.

If there is no other way, then check to make absolutely sure whether or not the curse brings you back to Storybrooke. If it does, then be placed under it. If it doesn't, then don't bother with it. Stay in Mayfield and die, instead.

[He wants the option where he doesn't die thanks.]

There's always a way...I'll keep looking but I don't want anyone to die.

If it comes down to you having to die, then you'll have to die. I don't care where you end up after death; I just know that it HAS to be preferable to being trapped reliving your worst memories for eternity.

[Snow angrily sits down beside Henry, intentionally shoving the rude girl aside. No one talks to her grandson that way...especially when he's hurting. She wraps her arm around him, rubbing his back comfortingly with one hand.]

I don't know where your mun has sent you Henry, but I know how you feel... [She frowned, looking down wistfully at the ring that she would never take off of her left finger.]

My mun is throwing me into so many different worlds these days...that I don't know where I am half of the time. She promised me that Charming and I would be back together... [She murmured to herself, 'It seems such a lie, but for what purpose?'...She is swiftly beginning to doubt her mun.]

Don't worry Henry. We will be back together. I will find you..somehow. [She smiled weakly at her grandson.]

[Grandmaaaaaa, he's glad to see you here, even if he's not sure how to take it that you just shoved his sort of kind of friend away. But he will take the hug.]

It's more complicated than that... I've been there for awhile and things are getting worse.

[But he nods slowly to her weak smile.]

Promise?

[Motherly instincts often get the best of her. She frowned suddenly, a bit taken aback...]

[She bit her lip, a helpless look barely visible on her face.] I wish I was there with you..so that I could help somehow...or at least try.

[She glowered at the girl, holding herself back from lashing out. There were better ways to handle talking about uncertainty with a child.]

Promise. [And she meant and believed it.]

[He just doesn't want to get cursed again and not be able to wake up.]

[She smiled warmly for a brief moment.] Just think, you never gave up on Emma, and she pulled through. She finally believed.

Just don't lose that hope that I know you have. [Maybe she needs to take her own advice right about now...]

[She frowned upon the idea of Henry going under the curse again...she did not approve... though she didn't know the situation or how to come up with an alternate suggestion. Dying was certainly not an option.]

[But now...Henry just moves away looking back at Snow.]

I just found out from my mun...I'm not going home. Because, I don't have a home to go back to.

[She reaches out to him as he steps backward...what's going on?]

[And then...her heart stops.]

W- what do you mean, Henry? [She grips his arms gently as she crouches down, looking deeply into his frightened eyes.]

In Mayfield...I'm not the real Henry. I'm just a copy of him. The real Henry's home safe.

A ....copy?

[She looks quite perplexed...how can this be?]

But...how? ... and why? [She frowns. She doesn't like this at all. It sounds like some kind of dark, twisted magic to her.]

The man who brought us all there couldn't really bring us. So he made copies of the original...

[Snow can only wonder if these 'copies' are still linked to the original people that they were created from...What happens if...if the copy is injured...or dies or something. A thousand what if's raced through her thoughts.]

How...how can that be? So you...right now, you're apparently a copy? [She panics all of a sudden.] W- what happened to the real you? Or..the other you..

[She is beyond confused. ~~(Her mun even more so. XD)~~ If copy Henry can have conversation with her...recognize her, then what about the real Henry. Is he alright?]

I dunno...it's just what that man could do. But the other me is safe back in Storybrooke...with all of you. I guess that's the good thing about this. You're all safe and he is too.

[Can you tell it hurts for him to say this? That he can't ever see the people he loves because he's not the real him.]

[Rosemary is startled at the sudden appearance of this person, and glares at her after being shoved aside. But she keeps quiet and waits until she and Henry are finished talking. Then she smiles.]

You know, it's the sweetest sounding promises that are the easiest to break.
