As interesting as your ideas sound, I'm not sure all of them are a good idea. Meeting new ponies is nice and all, but I have to think about the bigger picture. Introducing the protagonists of one world could carry the risk of introducing their antagonists, as well, and I have to keep watch for that.

Youkai and various other kinds of beings reside there and their typical form of combat is the art of bullet arrangements formally known as "danmaku." It's actually very common for us ponies to be matched with those from Gensokyo; I've learned a lot about their world from a very knowledgeable magician named Patchouli Knowledge...

It's very strange, yes, but it's no different to others thinking of Equestria as strange. Culture clashing is one of the more popular aspects of being on Dreamwidth; you learn a lot of thing that way and most of the time, it's nothing to worry about.

Gensokyo culture just so happens to be one we would get along with very well.
