Why are you surprised? You knew that story would focus on me. It's only natural that it would mention what happened to my parents eventually.
[But in the first chapter?]
Well, I admit it was mentioned very early on. Still, it's not exactly unexpected.
...But that's not the kind of reveal you've been waiting for, is it?
[Not really. That's more... later stuff.]
They're only at the first act of this game, so they won't reach that point for a while. Just try to be patient until then, mundane-san.
[He'll be waiting to see how much that story will differ from his own as well, anyway. Since it's an IF story... maybe things will turn out differently there. Although certain facts still aren't going to change, he supposes...]
[ooc: Threads may potentially contain (marked) spoilers for Super Dangan Ronpa 2! ...Possibly major ones, so tread with caution.]

--welp, this could get... spoilery. orz
I can't say if it's being translated, but it is being published online. [And his mun will just go ahead and leave the link here. Just beware of spoilers in there since it's pretty much shaping up to be SDR2 Spoilers: The Manga, although it's mostly just Ch. 1 stuff so far.

It's been a while, Tsumiki-san. [At least for him. Then again, he's been stuck with his mun for, what, about three and a half months now? So that's hardly a surprise.]
8T such is the nature of ronpas
So gonna read that. She has to restrain herself from apologizing for guessing wrong. At least it's a successful self-restraint.]
...likewise. [She doesn't seem to know what else to say.]
it really is...
Mun is both looking forward to and dreading the next chapter.]Is that so...? ["Likewise." Hmm. So either she's been away from the island for some time as well now, or...]
Well then, what was the last thing you remember happening on the Jabberwock Islands, Tsumiki-san? If you don't mind telling me, of course.
[Talking to the others had been... troublesome lately as is, but Tsumiki had always been something of a special case, even if the reasons for that changed over time. Depending on what point of their school trip she's from, he might have to approach this conversation a bit differently...]

[Read: everything. At least she doesn't seem to still be in that despair state of mind. For the moment...]
I have to...apologize...

So she is from past that point in time. That was... a little over a week ago for him, if he recalls right - not counting the time he's been stuck with his mun, anyway.
Well, that certainly makes this easier.]

[And just like that, as he continues, Komaeda's voice seems just a touch different; while it still sounds cheerful, there's a tinge of something else in it. Something that almost sounds like... arrogance?]
Do you still remember...? Your time at Hope's Peak Academy... and the identity of the traitor among us.
[She made it very clear that she remembered both of these things back then, even if they failed to get an actual answer for the traitor's identity out of her at the time. So he might as well try to get her to answer just one more time, right? Even if it's only for the sake of confirming his own suspicions.]

[she laughs once, twice. It's a little unhinged.]
We don't have to talk about that, Komaeda-san, it's s-such an gloomy subject...!

[That... did not sound like his usual manner of speech at all. If anything, his tone could almost qualify as condescending. "Gloomy," really? She'd call discussing the identity of the one person among them who's supporting the world's hope gloomy? Hah.]
But if you're reacting this way, then it seems you do remember.
[Her laughter speaks volumes in that regard. It may not be as over the top as it was back then just yet, but it's certainly closer to that than to her laughter from before she fell into despair.]
