[There is nothing but the sound of growling. And it goes on. And on. And on.
Finally, after what seems like forever, he slowly and deliberately pulls the Brute Shot off of his back, reloading it.
Perhaps his mun should consider this choice. Very. Carefully.
After all, he'd hate for something to happen to said mun.Who's he kidding, he'd be the one causing something to happen.]

Hello, Agent Maine, or are you the Meta currently? Do you or Sigma have any sense of self?

However, you and Omega together is a new development. Especially considering that he recalls an EMP destroying Omega, along with the rest. Eight AIs simultaneously dying in his head is something he noticed at the time.
Which is why he's purring in curiosity now. What is going on here
and how does he get you back Omega?]no subject
Mun, O'Malley, please don't tell me you two are considering what I think you're BOTH considering.
Oh, I don't know, Doc. You get your body back and your mind is free at last... for whatever few seconds remain before I obliterate you.
[ooc: Go for it?]

And he would like to return the favor the Doc did to him. Very much.
Though for the moment, he has to let out a questioning growl. The Meta didn't take you for the type to hang out in the heads of these sad little SIM troopers, Omega.]

At the same time though, I've been trying to teach O'Malley to calm down and just appreciate life a little bit. We've had some ups and downs but otherwise we've been making progress.
Yes, if by progress you mean closer and closer to finding a way to destroy your mind and leave you an obedient husk to become my obedient slave!

and the possibly more to try to recreate the Alpha againHe rumbles and shakes his head at Doc. No one teaches the very incarnation of rage to calm down.]

[Forgive Utah, Meta. He knows not wtf he's doing.]
no subject
Did he not hear the news?]

[There's a definite note of trepidation in Utah's voice now. The higher-ranked Freelancers intimidate the living daylights out of him, especially Maine.]
no subject
The question actually gets a short - if slightly harsh - laugh out of him, and he twitches one shoulder in a shrug. Oh, he's all right. Considering that it is awfully quiet and empty in his armor with all those AIs gone.]
no subject
[He didn't get one. Only got a faulty enhancement and the ignobility of being a cautionary tale about running Freelancer tech without an AI. Utah shrugs helplessly at the Meta.]
no subject
All these enhancements between them and no way to use them. What a shame. Probably not as much of a shame as them being the last few remnants of the entire program, though.]

Cue Maine re-clamping the
kick-ass broomBrute Shot to the back of his armor... and getting right in Donut's personal space. He growls shortly a few times, questioningly. How are you still alive.]no subject
That's...good. You're doing reeaaaal good. Now. Try. In. Out. Come on. Even. Breaths. Nice and sloooow. Innnnnnnnn. Ouuuuuuuuut. You're standing at the top of the mountain. Everything's nice and quiet. You are all alone and your growlies are free to drift off into the wind. Relaaaaaxxxxx.
[ If this doesn't work, Donut's going to have to break out the heavy artillery... ]
no subject
Physically, Donut is safe for the time being.
Maine cocks his head, hissing and rumbling. Then he growls again, more loudly. What are you talking about, you strange man? What is this 'relaxing' you speak of?]
