On fan speculation and being passed up for other things [Possible S3 Spoilers In Comments]
Thank you, mun. For having faith, I mean. Both in your own abilities with my voice and in my reasons.
Hopefully, now, those who make assumptions based on insufficient information can see that there is nothing I would loathe more than openly holding that ancient jealousy in my heart. Lack of faith, perhaps, but not envy.
Which brings us to our next point. Do not fret that thine other muses got extra icons but we did not; what we have is quite sufficient. We wouldst not enjoy being overlooked repeatedly, but we understand the concept of having to stay within thine means.

Do you always speak with such an uncultured manner?

I mean if you want me to use my teacher voice I could whip out some big words.

I love how you've got your mane though. It's a little too long for me, I'd get it caught in things but it frames you elegantly. Do you do it yourself?

[You're definitely not from Canterlot, she's only had to answer that question CONSTANTLY since she returned. At the same time, it helps calm her down.]

[Takes off her hat revealing a mess of a mane, unkempt and...is that dust?]
I tend to just keep mine short like this, it gets snagged on branches and things. I got the color from my father's side.

...More than just your mane, I gather. You look as if you have been rolling in a tomb.

[Puts the hat on, has a big grin]
I found this underground burial of a tribe of ancient elk shaman. It was fascinating. Then the bones came to life and tried to kill me. No big deal.

The elks know dark magicks?! How di-WHY WERE WE NOT ALERTED TO THIS!?
no subject
Well I err...did write a pretty snazzy paper on it. It was published in some publications of high esteem...

[Hope you don't need personal space, Daring, because now Luna is shaking you frantically.]

Some science magazines, some scrolls.
And as for why well...I mean...the Elk I encountered were long since dead...maybe she did something and just didn't tell us?
no subject
I... see. I shall have to inquire about that when I return.
[Ever so casually, she picks up the hat and settles it back upon Daring's head. Yep! Totally calm. You saw nothing.]

Gotta love a Princess with passion. If it's any consolation I'm not entirely sure that anyone reads what I write anyway. I think they just put them in there to try and get some of the less science minded ponies to read.

It's usually best to take those sorts of things with a grain of salt, Princess.

You needn't show us such formality, Shining Armor. Thou art technically family.

[He chuckles.]
Anyway, things pretty much worked out for the best, right?

[She knows all about old habits, though; she still hasn't kicked the archaic language.]
That they did. My dearest sister was correct to put faith in Twilight Sparkle for this task, much to my surprise. I felt the entire thing reeked of nepotism, but once again, she knew what was needed...

I trust you know thine own sister well enough to know the mindset she arrived in the Crystal Empire with.

As a side note, your current icons are sufficiently well balanced. I find that less can actually be more, anyway.

(Brutally, but she learned that.)
I suppose these games aren't any different, are they?
