Why? Every Persona game I've ever played pretty much hands you your first one just in time for your first fight. I mean, I guess they'd have to, otherwise you'd get creamed.

Of course you don't get anything really good until you can get into the velvet room, but I guess there's nothing you can do about that. The game would be boring if they just handed you all the cool stuff up front.

Yeah, I think my favorite is 4, just because I like the shipping options and the murder mystery plot. Although the portable version of 3 definitely made that one worth a second look.

They should add a girl's side option to all of them. Nice cosplay, by the way.

Ohh, that's a good role too. Or it can be, depending on the guy. It's important for both of the romantic leads to be really interesting for the story to be worthwhile.

As for me, I'm not really the main character in anything yet, but I'd like to think I'd be the type to go again convention.

In that case the civilian group is probably better. The social links there might be easier to level...

But don't you think the secret organization option will probably have a better overall plot? That kind of setup is always full of a lot of intrigue. The civilian group will just put you on rails since all they'll be able to do is react to things until you meet a detective type character, and they almost never join up until late game.

Oh my gosh, you're right! The detective never joins up until way late in the game! And before they do the civilian group is stuck on a single path.
