Why do you insist on torturing yourself?
Yes, I am aware I'll be required to die, but perhaps you should consider exactly how long I've been alive. I have led a fulfilling life, had rewarding work. And despite what you may believe, this isn't an end, so much as a new beginning. You understand as well as most what I've lived through, so you must also understand the appeal in escaping it all, even if only briefly. I'm content in my life, but I've made my peace with death.
