Well now, this is new isn't it?
Very posh, really. This mind of yours is just filled with such interesting people, not a rather lot of places to go. Bit cramped for me you see, bit orderly too.
I'm young again, I have a chance to do things over in an age where...well anything is possible. Remember the old days? Well no, of course you don't but I do. Days before all these gadgets and advancements.
Nostalgic? Not remotely! I lived through that era, I am here now and I love it. Aside from that one thing. I feel confined. What use it is to have the vigor of my youth and nothing to do?
I yearn for the adventure of it, the excitement, the sheer fun of it. I took too many things for granted back then.
I took too many people for granted too.
So, do lets find something to keep an old woman occupied shall we? I'm rubbish at knitting so don't even suggest it.

Yes, please do. I'm at my worst when idle.

In either case getting out sounds like a wonderful idea. Maybe shopping first, I should really get around to updating my wardrobe.

Because Herc always likes hanging with the self-proclaimed 'old-schoolers.'
Certainly not all. 'Tis a pleasure to see you in such fine spirits, Lady Spitfire.
[Not that Herc has any aversion to body shots and/or trouble, of course...]
Herc!!! You old son of a....god!
[Don't tempt her big man, it's been a while.]
It's been too long! *Demigodhugs*
At my age, I should certainly hope so... though I daresay I could say the same, fair Jacqueline. [Here, have an admiring smile.
And hey, he'll bring the shots if you bring the body! Or vice versa, Herc's not picky.]
My what big hands you have....
[Time and place, she'll bring one or the other, or maybe both depending on how much they drink.]
The better to touch you with, dear lady!
[Admittedly, Herc's idea of wooing a gal is either stomping out a Hydra cell together or fun times at a rowdy and well-stocked bar (He's an ENORMOUS fan of karaoke), but he's certainly open to accommodating a lady.
Unless she wants him to go full Chippendale's. The chest hair stays.]
And for once she doesn't feel like the creepy older woman.
I am open to suggestions, honestly I feel like it's been ages since anything's really gotten the old blood pumping.
[It's ok Herc, she likes masculine men. Broad chest, square jaw...oh dear, is it getting warm in here?]
Just another advantage of a guy with experience, hmm?
Flattery, dear Spitfire, would be entirely pointless in your case. What use honeyed half-truths when simple honesty could extoll your manifold charms far better?
And did you wish it, I would be more than pleased to offer an evening's excitement; there's no doubt in me that we should surely have a time worth the retelling. [She didn't mind saving New York from an underground invasion of Mole Men in the middle of a date, right?
And admittedly, there might be some subtle flexing as he notices her noticing him. It's just another way of persuading her into fun, after all.]
Well with everything he has under his belt...oh..possibly a bad choice of words.
I bet you really know how to show a lady good time. Why not give it a go, ey? [Par for the course with them really, she can hardly recall a moment that something wasn't happening to derail plans in her youth. You know, almost dying and whatnot.]
[Put the guns away Herc, you have her attention...also..wow..thighs!]
(*Facepalm* Urgh, html!)
Just reaching your prime, I'd say- like a fine Mycenean wine. [A woman who was old enough to know what she likes, and young enough to go for it? Oh he'll want a second helping of that, thank you.]
I can but do my humble best, sweet lady Jacqueline- but I trust you'll not be unsatisfied. [Putting two fingers to his lips, he gave a piercing whistle- and moments later, his ride swooped down; you don't mind heading out in a chariot pulled by winged horses, do you?
Though he will open one side for her, offering a hand in classic gentlemanly manner.
Along with propping one foot up on the vehicle's railing, giving him a chance to show off dem legs the way only a man in a short kilt can. Can never have TOO much of the lady's attention, right?]happens to the best of us
I am a difficult woman to satisfy, but who better to take on a Herculean challenge, hmm?
[Helllloooo nurse! Well now, can't blame a lady for enjoying the scenery when it's all right there now can you? Except that grin? Yes, pretty sure Interpol has a warrant out for her grin.]
Just so long as the merriment continues!
Well, I should need to try both to be certain... but methinks you have the inside track. [Herc grinned slyly, definitely pleased he was able to coax laughter from the lady- before chuckling at her response.]
I daresay I can rise to the challenge you pose- and surely no labor had reward so great as to please a smile from your fair face. But be warned, I plan a strenuous night; you wished to get your blood pumping, yes? [Oh, Hercules LIKES that grin. If the lady be a fan of beefcake, who is he to deny her a show?]
These two need a meme date LOL
I have no doubt that you are well worthy of it. Well I might not be a demigoddess but I'm pretty sure I can give as well as I get. Have yet to meet the person I couldn't keep up with. [Challenge issued Herc, how do ya like her now?]
No arguments here! They's FEISTY.
Oh, I assure you I can be exceedingly thorough in my study of such a sweet subject. I don't doubt it should take me all night. [Because innuendo was fun on its own merits, you know. And so was keeping her self-esteem high; a lady deserves to know she's appreciated, you know.
He slid an heavy-thewed arm around her, ever so casually.] It would be a rare demigoddess indeed who could meet your standard, fair lady. But I look forward to seeing you put proof to your words.
Slow post back is slow
[That is a fine grip you have sir, and it feels awfully nice. She was already having more fun than she has had in years.]
I think I might know just the place.
(I'll find them a meme or something and message you.)
Just means you have more chance to think about it!

Well look whose all grown up. Little Bucky Barnes, hardly so little anymore.
[You're about to get a really fast hug, be prepared]
no subject
Well, look at who's as beautiful as ever!
I wasn't that little, I'll have you know.
*yes, yes he was.*

And of course Namor with his ego, Captain America with his virtue and...Jim. How is he? Jim I mean. [One of the biggest regrets of her life, she'd behaved absolutely miserably to him, she'd been young and ignorant and not half the Lady she was supposed to be.]
no subject
*And then... looks down.* He's at peace.
no subject
[The news of Jim was sobering, she'd hoped there would be something more uplifting something like Jim himself. But she could only nod sadly.] Peace is the very least he deserves, he was a good man.
[Yes a man, she no longer made the distinction when it came to Hammond, in all the ways that mattered he was more human than most.]
no subject
You deserved being out there, and earned every moment, the way the rest of us did.
*and then... Bucky bows his head.* Yeah. He should have had more.
*More time. More friends. More life. More.*

I'm doing well! My mun's working on an app. I'm not too impressed with where she's looking to send me, but when are we ever? Still, it IS a place where I could do some good, I think, and that's more important.
no subject
Where is it the devil has planned for you? Well, not that anywhere wouldn't count their lucky stars to have you my dear.

It's apparently pretty awful, really. It's even brought children there.

Really, she needs to work on resisting that, I think. Still, I'm not sure if you could intercede at all.
