Scott goes around acting like he's saving a race when he's sacrificing their spirits in the process. He couldn't save the mutant race, so he dumped it on me to do.

Then they all flipped cause I couldn't do it. Well since I couldn't save them, there was another path laid out for me.

I'd much prefer if you just told that crowd to ram it an' rotate then skipped off to the future to hang out with Cable. That'd be the smart thing to do, the one that'd actually make you happy- hell, for all I know it's the easy thing to do in your case.
