Not to mention all the advances in player immersion. Gamers today can just put on a headset and really believe they've been transported into the world of the game.

But retro games have their own charm, too. Besides, if it weren't for them paving the way, we wouldn't have the super-realistic games of today, so really, we should be thanking you.
